I had a few issues with this product: First one is that despite there being something like 25 shades, there's just not one that suits me that well (even though I've got a great match in the double wear light range). Secondly, while some people love the matte finish, I feel that it's too drying on my forehead, which I feel accentuates the minor lines I have. Not a hot look. Given these issues, I'd say that I wouldn't repurchase. I would recommend it to a friend on the basis of other people loving it, and it has a wide range of shades. Estee Lauder are very generous with their samples, and that way you can try before you buy.

Tips: Consider mixing the product with a touch of moisturiser or primer, for a less dry finish.
When I first put this foundation on I really like it. It's light, easy to apply and gives me a healthy glow. However throughout the day it starts to clump together into little dots! I have tried numerous powders as well as no powder and still get the same result! This does not happen with any other foundations. It is also very pricey so I would not purchase it again.
I received a sample pot of this foundation and was expecting great things. This foundation did not work well with my skin. It sat in certain areas more than others and like someone else mentioned, it had a weird 'clumpiness' after a while. You have to work really fast with this product as once it's set, you can't blend or move it at all. I also found it really hard to remove :-/
Tips: Get a sample pot from the store first!! Try it out at home and see how it works for your skin type.
I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. Been using it for about 3 months pretty much daily and have been trying to find what the hype is all about. First off, boy is it pricey! But guess being EL thats kind of expected. Have found it to be too cakey when applied with a brush (tried RT expert face brush) so i use my fingers for a less 'full makeup' look. Have found that it oxidises and by about 3pm it doesnt look as 'fresh'. Tends to slip off my nose very easily, especially if i sweat slightly, just turns it into a cakey mess. Broke me out (i havent had pimples in years!) even after washing my face with a makeup removing cleanser twice in the evenings. I guess the only good thing is its an ok colour match (pale almond). I dont think i will repurchase again.
Tips: Use fingers for a 'lighter' coverage. Also, wouldnt say it us 'buildable' at all.
I have dry/ oily combination skin. I tried this foundation during the autumn/winter months, when my skin was more on the drier end. I found that this foundation accentuates the dry patches on my face. I have primed , moisturised and have tried to apply with beauty blender, buffing brush, stippling brush still with the same result. Its not a bad foundation , its just not for me. I also don't like the smell of it. This foundation however is long lasting, water and sweat-proof. Medium-Full coverage and is buildable.
Tips: Probably would suit combination to oily skin types.
From minute one I was in love. Like fellow reviewers I have incredibly pale skin and find it nigh on impossible to find a shade which matches - they usually are too dark and look orange on me. This one however, oh my goodness, the shade I was matched was perfect! The love affair continued after that and by the end of the first day it hadn't run or oxidised and had a very natural, non cakey look. Unfortunately it made me break out. I kept using it hoping it was something else, anything else, but it wasn't so I had to stop using it. I thought it was wonderful and would recommend it to any of my friends, with a warning for the ones with sensitive skin.
Im basing my review on the free sample that was available from farmers
lets start with the price - NOT KEEN! I don't use high end make up specifically because of pricing.
For me, I do tend to wear a lot more foundation than normal because I have a lot to cover so in the essence of actually having money to live on, I go for cheaper products.
Coverage: was OK? I wouldn't say it's better than my Rimmel one - for me I found it looked like a 'stain' on my face (AND NOT TO MENTION MY BRUSHES!!!)
Ps the "10 day sample" lasted me 2 days.
I personally do not like this product. It has great coverage but made me break out something hurendous!
I do like this foundation; it is full coverage and it lasts all day, but I found it too heavy and cakey for my preference, and due to being so thick I found it hard to blend out. I do have dry skin which could be a factor, I just prefer dewy medium coverage foundation
Tips: Probably good for oily skin
So this foundation did not quite live up to my expectations. And I had massive ones! Yes it was buildable and long lasting but the foundation itself made my skin very oily and sticky which made me break out. In saying that I have a combination of both dry and oily skin but when I used it my skin just appeared to be more oily which I absolutely hate. I tried using this in two separate occasions but same result.
Tips: I first used a stippling brush to apply with on my skin, works better with a damp beauty blender
