Rimmel London Wonder Extension Mascara

I love the packaging of this, it's so pretty! I go through stages of getting watery eyes, it's super annoying and really puts any mascara to the test. This definitely passed the test!

I find the formula to be very wet and it can take a bit of time to dry. I like to do 2 coats for maximum effect. It makes my lashes look beautiful, nicely separated and fluttery. I don't get any clumping at all.

I'm not a huge fan of the wand and I actually use a wand from another mascara. I get no panda eyes or flaking and the mascara pretty much looks the same from morning to evening.

I think it's a great affordable mascara and makes your lashes look great.

I use this mascara on a daily basis, so trust me on this, it does a job. I’ve got quite short and stubby lashes, no natural curl, and not naturally dark. I NEED mascara. I had very high hopes for this product, but no amount of mascara is going to give you dramatic eyelashes. That being said, this product does manage to give you quite a lot of volume and length. I’m glad that it doesn’t clump together like a lot of mascaras do. My only criticism is that when I raise my eyes, I get rub-off on my eyelids. Easy fix: I started using a second mascara wand. I will start by applying this specific product, liberally, and finish with another mascara’s wand. I believe that this removes excess product and also helps to continue the lengthening and volumising process. The end result is longer, thicker, darker eyelashes that don’t ever transfer to my eyelids. I’ve been using this mascara like this for a few months now. I don’t think the price is unfair and I would consider buying again to be honest.

This is the second one of the Rimmel mascaras l have had the opportunity of trying . I found it to be certainly better than the last one with the banana shaped wand, that l have tried . It was in my Beauty Christmas box, it seems to lengthen fairly well if applied in two coats letting first dry somewhat, and l have a brush that l separate my lashes with after l apply any of my mascaras, so unlike others that have found this mascara to clump , l did not have that problem . Seems to stay on very well during the day. Brush is a good average size that tapers.

Received in the '21 Xmas BBBE.Very beautiful packaging and design. Wand is tapered, shorter bristles at the top, gradually lengthening. Quite a stiff wand. Prefer more flexible.

The knobby bits on the wand grab each lash. Find it to not separate as much as I like on top lashes, great for bottom lashes though. Formula is quite liquid, you will want to wipe off the excess. Can take a little bit to dry down, although not ideal, is quite nice for building layers if you want a bit more drama. Natural false lash look.

Lasts quite well through out the day. Haven't noticed any flaking or smudging. Easy to remove with makeup wipe or micellar water/reusable cotton pad.

Liked this more than I thought I would as I haven't used anything from this brand in years.

I was really excited to try a mascara again after having eyelash extensions over the holidays. Unfortunately this one was a dud as I couldn’t really see any great length to my lashes.

Perhaps it’s because my lashes were already short to work with and this one isn’t a tubular lengthening formula? I was still using an eyelash growth serum throughout this time too.

The packaging is promising but Rimmel still seem to keep going with a wand that is a bit ‘scratchy’ with little extra stubby bits that irritate a bit on application if you get too close to the base of your lashes. I seemed to get too much liquid product that I had to wipe off on the tube.

I really didn’t notice any real difference to my lash length but yes it was nice and black and it wore really well throughout the day with only minimal smudging after a work day. It’s a little clumpy but that’s not unexpected. I just combed through with a separate brush. It’s easy to remove with a oil cleanser and a flannel.

If I didn’t know this was a Rimmel brand I would have thought this was a cheapie from the Supermarket as it really didn’t do much for me. I’m quite put off any of this brand’s mascara range because of this product unfortunately but I’ll keep buying their eyelash serum.

I received this in the Christmas BBBE and was super excited to try it. I’m a diehard mascara lover, current faves include Eye of Horus and Maybelline Sky High mascara.

This is my first time trying a Rimmel mascara, it’s not usually a brand that appeals but was keen to see how it performed.

Yuck. A horrible formula that makes a clumpy mess. The brush comes out with loads of product on it so I washed it off my lashes, wiped all the excess product off the brush and tried again - still a clumpy mess. No length, clumped my lashes together and even using a clean mascara wand couldn’t seperate them.

Not sure if there is an issue with my product in particular or if this is just what it’s like, but can honestly say it’s put me off the brand. Such a shame
