This was my first ever brow product that I used back when I was obsessed with high-end products. I picked this up in the lightest shade 10 Blond Clair.
The pencil itself came with a Chanel Pencil Sharpener! How luxe! I love that they go the extra mile with their products, makes you feel a wee bit more justified in paying a ridiculous amount of money for something as simple as a brow pencil. The sharpener isn't particularly fancy other than being black with the Chanel branding on it. But I do like that it has one of those pokey sticks in it so if any product gets stuck you can push it out. The pencil itself is just a black pencil, at one end is the product and the other end is a spoolie. The spoolie is like the softest one I have ever used. But really at the end of the day the packaging isn't that much different than any other brow pencil I have ever used.
The product itself is incredibly fair, I love this for a natural look for me as it emphasises my brows without making them look too intense. The product isn't particularly creamy or gel like meaning it is great for colouring the hairs but not for holding them in place. So you would have to use a separate product for that. For that reason I wouldn't recommend to a friend as I would say the Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil does everything in one. I do like the effect of this brow powder though. It does make for an extremely natural looking brow.
I wouldn't recommend this to a friend because of the price. I also would be more likely to recommend the Hourglass one as I said as it does more things in one pencil. But if you are after a luxury product, it is still quite nice.
