Glam By Manicare Pre-glued Lashes - Billie

I’m pretty much a party lash girl and being party season I tried these out for an event. It’s the first time I’ve used pre glued lashes so it was great not to have to apply glue as a first step. They went on pretty easily but I must have had a bad technique as they lifted in the corner straight away - but not enough for me to peel off and start again. I think they looked fabulous regardless and stayed on really well for 6 hours. I didn’t mind that the band was quite thick looking but I did feel they were quite heavy on my lids. I definitely prefer the feel of the thinner clear bands and will go back to a different lash next time instead of these even with having to buy separate glue. A bit sad too that these are single use and get binned after one outing.

I love the look of false lashes, but don't have the patience (or the courage) to master the ones that you have to glue yourself, so I was pleased to be able to trial the pre-glued Glam by Manicare lashes.

I love the lash itself. It's long and fluttery and really helps to emphasise my eyes. The band was quite thick and I thought it could look obvious, but due to having eyes that have become more hooded as I've gotten older, you couldn't notice it. I was able to apply the lashes easily, and the glue was very sticky. The lashes lasted throughout the day with ease and didn't pop up.

While I don't see myself being a false lash lass regularly, I do think these are an excellent option for those of us who would wear a false lash to a special event.

Love these for a cute natural lash moment. The pre glued style makes them ridiculously easy to use, and they are a really nice style for someone who prefers a more natural subtle lash. I found the longevity pretty good, with just those pesky edges flicking up after several hours but was easily sorted with a good tight squeeze with some tweezers. A little heavier band wise I presume because they are pre glued but still comfortable and easy to wear. My only downfall with these is them being a one time wonder, and would need gluing for reuse. But it's easy enough to add more glue if wanting to wear them again. Love the idea, and think they would be a really nice idea for beginners.

These lashes were quick and easy to apply, unlike magnetic ones I have tried unsuccessfully in the past. These fitted perfectly so no trimming was needed and felt natural to wear. They looked lovely on and complimented my own lashes without looking over the top which is not a look I like for myself. These lasted the afternoon/evening for me and were easy to take off.

I'm not very experienced at putting on my own lashes but these are pretty simple to use. Being pre-glued there's no mess or fuss. I did struggle to get them in the right position but I'm sure with practice and patience I would get the hang of it.

Not sure how useful my review will be, I’ve only once before managed to apply fake lash strips successfully and unfortunately couldn’t get these ones positioned right on my eyelids so I can’t say anything about staying power If the lashes. What I didn’t like (besides my inability to get them in the right place which was probably more user error than an issue with the product) was how thick the black glue line was. I don’t usually wear a thick liner and the glue line being black really stood out on me. What I did like was both the length and spacing of the lashes. Again as i don’t go for heavy eye makeup an option which adds slight length and volume is my preference to something heavy, so I’ll look out for something like the Billie lashes next time I want extra lashes for an event.

Was excited to be picked for this trial. I’ve never used false lashes. Always seemed too awkward. These pre glued lashes definitely made it less fiddly than I’d imagined though. The packaging is pretty simple. The lashes were natural looking so they were delicate looking which meant removing them from the packaging I was worried they’d tear but didn’t Application itself was awkward for me which is most likely me being a first timer with lashes like these. They stuck to my finger more than my lash line and couldn’t quite get them right. I eventually did get them sitting right but I suspect my on/off adjusting them early on meant that the glue wasn’t quite holding as it should have been. Once they were on they looked lovely and very natural. I kept checking them thinking they were coming off but they weren’t. Later in the evening I felt one feeling a bit ‘loose’ and checked them and could see it lifting. I eventually removed them both. I suspect my inexperienced application compromised the glue hence they didn’t hold as long as I’d hoped Great concept and if you’re a regular false lash user I suspect these would be easy but for me I found it tricky and given they’re a one use product they’re probably not for me unless I got the hang of it. Really glad I got to trial these. I wish I was better at applying them to really love them

As someone who's always been a bit of a newbie when it comes to lashes, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy these were to apply.

The pre-glued strip means I simply had to delicately position them along my lash line, and the adhesive did its job. No more waiting for glue to get tacky or drip onto the lashes.
