The first "Nudes" palette that Maybelline put out, they also have blushed, smokey and rockstar "Nudes" and a brights palette, not all released here which could be a good thing. The black packaging of this palette is nicely laid out but It would have been nice to have a mirror in this. It has a double sided sponge applicator with one end smaller than the other. It is smaller than some other palettes out there.
There is only 1 colour in the palette that I could suggest that you use as a highlighter. The shadows show up great in the pan but some transfer better to the lid than others if you don't prime, don't forget to prime it is the best way to get the most out of this palette. The colours are blendable with a little work. I have used some of the colours wet and dry with no problems. It is well milled with a good mix of colours.
If you are looking for a matte palette, put this palette down, there are no metallic colours here but there is sparkles in half the palette, if you don't mind the mix you can pick it back up. It does give ideas on colour mixes on the back of the palette but this is only a suggestion so go crazy with your mixes. I am on the fence about repurchase as it is good for a weekend away so you don't bring the whole make up collection.
I loved this palette when I first got it. But as time went on, I realised the product isn't pigmented very well in the lighter colours, you have to the colour up.
I loved the range of colours in this palette, but the darker shades are actually darker then they look in the palette? Its weird. Its still a great product for those who don't want to splurge on a more pricey eyeshadow palette!
