Sometimes you don’t need to mess with a classic. The basic design of this product is the classic eyelash curler, this one has been modified to what feels like it should be a new and improved version, but it falls at the first hurdle. On first use, I tried it as it comes, but you can’t see if you have the eyelashes evenly in the curler because of the comb. So next use I flipped that off - it’s about 3mm away from the curler and doesn’t actually touch the lashes anyway - so not functionally well positioned. The next use, I took the pretty pink finger cushion’s out - maybe I have fat fingers but with those there I couldn’t get a great grip. What I was left with was a pretty pink version of my own gold manicare eyelash curler. It is now perfect. Works as it should, curls evenly, the parts meet like they should and it comes with spare parts. One of the things I did notice when opening the packet is that it’s easy to get into, not crimped plastic that you need scissors on - so that was a bonus. I’m sad about the comb because I thought that would be handy, but you can’t use it on its own easily due to the part it attaches to the curler with. I don’t use false lashes - so maybe it would work better with those. As it was originally, the added extras provided more of a hindrance.

This is a stylish tool. The colourway is great, pink and metallic- my favourite! So pretty. I was really excited to try as I am always on the lookout to get long and curled looking lashes!
It is really easy to use and comfortable to hold. It seems really good quality also, not flimsy like some others I have used.
The tool works well on delivering curled lashes that look wonderful with a coat of your favourite mascara. A winner from Manicare.
5 stars from me. Will recommend to anyone wanting a good quality curler.
After trying the eyelash curler over the past week, I can say it exceeded my expectations in every way!
It not only provided a stunning curl to my lashes but the separator comb worked wonders in achieving that perfectly fanned-out look. It effortlessly lifted and curled each individual lash, giving my eyes an instant wide-eyed and captivating appearance. I was amazed at how beautifully it enhanced my naturally flat lashes. The built-in separator comb was a game-changer. It worked like magic to ensure that my lashes were evenly spaced and didn't clump together. This added volume and depth to my lashes.
One aspect I loved about this curler was the clamping mechanism. Unlike other clunky curlers I've used in the past, this one opened up smoothly and provided me with a comfortable level of control over the pressure applied. It felt natural and didn't pinch or pull on my lashes. This eyelash curler was incredibly user-friendly. Its ergonomic design made it easy to handle and maneuver. I didn't struggle or feel like it was a complicated process, making it suitable for beginners and experts alike.
Tips: For best practices in hygiene and to prevent clumping, always use the eyelash curler before applying mascara. This keeps the curler as clean as possible!
I was keen to try the new version of the manicure eyelash curler with attached comb as I have used the standard version before.
The eyelash curler is an attractive metallic pink colour and looks and feels sturdy. It comes with and extra replacement pad and comb. The instructions on the back of the packet are easy to follow.
I feel the results were probably not as good as they could have been because I had trouble getting the device close to my eyeline. It pinched the skin in the corners so I had to sit the curler slightly further back to avoid this. I couldn’t really get a good lift. The comb attached to the end didn’t do a lot to separate my eyelashes and made it tricky to use. Probably because of the reason stated above. The comb attachment does come off easily though but it feels a bit gimmicky and a good mascara can separate your lashes just the same.
I really liked the rubber padding on the finger grips. It definitely makes it more comfortable to use in that aspect.
Personally I wouldn’t repurchase as it didn’t work well for my eye shape. It does stated on the back of the packet suitable for most eye shapes and lengths.
Tips: Wipe over the rubber pad after each use.
While these are a really pretty colour and feel like really good quality they just aren’t anything special.
The curve of the clamp did not fit my small eye well and my short lashes did not reach the comb.
I think if you had bigger eyes and longer lashes it would work better for you then it did for me.
Well to start - I love the pink and silver! I also loved that it came with a replacement pad and comb attachment ... smart! I have not used an eyelash curler since I was a teenager and that experience did not go well, so I wasn't too sure how it would 30 years later. The non-slip finger grips worked well and were easy to use. I really liked the comb concept but I did find it hard to see where my eyelid started and did pinch myself a few times but I am sure that is something that wouldn't happen often once I was used to working with it. I was a little confused with the instructions to 'rotate' but once I got my head around it (and realised how silly I was it was) I was able to do it but I did find it a little awkward tilting upwards and found that my eyelashes kept wanting to escape. I also found that my middle lashes sat nicely in the curler/comb but my inner and outer lashes I couldn't really see. Somehow though my lashes did indeed curl upwards and after a wee brush with my eyelash brush and with a nice layer of mascara my lashes stayed in a beautifully curled position all day - happy about that! I probably wouldn't use this every day as I am rushing to work etc but for a special event or if have some extra time I would keep giving it a go till I master it.
Tips: Rotate means turn the curler handles upwards not around ... how embarrassing!
As an inexperienced user of an eyelash curler, I found this really easy to use. I like how it has the comb on it as it ensures eye lashes are all straight when curling and doesn't leave crooked eyelashes. It definitely improved the length of my eyelashes after applying mascara. Really liked the way they looked! Recommend to anyone who loves to curl their eyelashes.
I don't usually use eyelash curlers as I don't feel like they do much to my eyelashes but was keen to give this a try. I tried using it on my eye and not the other to see if there was any difference. I felt it made my eyelashes slightly longer and straighter as they have a weird curl but only noticed when I put mascara on. I didn't feel that it lasted throughout the day though which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I felt this product was ok, but not sure I would repurchase
Tips: I felt it was slightly harder to get all the eyelashes in due to the shape of the curler and would pinch the skin so make sure it is lined up correctly
I have been using this for a week now. It is good quality in terms of construction and material. Love the colour! Do I feel the comb is necessary?...... No, not really?! The directions specifically say not to curl once mascara has been applied. For my eyelashs it is AFTER mascara has been applied that my eyelashes clump. Personally, if you don't like clump then look for a defining mascara. It did produce a nice curl. Summary is nice curl, does the job. Unless you have really thick lashes a normal curler will be just as good. Big fan of the pink :D
Tips: try to make sure lashes are straight before closing as the comb makes it a bit hard to see and you can end up with crooked eyelashs. Once you have it down its no issue.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial the Manicare Eyelash Curler with Comb. I have used eyelash curlers a lot over the years, but I was intrigued to see if the addition of a comb would make any difference.
The Manicare Eyelash Curler with Comb arrived in a blister packet. The packet states that the curler includes an “innovative comb attachment to create lifted looking, full-fan effect lashes.” It also says that it is “suitable for most eye shapes and lash lengths”. On the back of the packet there are 6 steps listed to successfully use the curler. The very first one is to not use it while wearing mascara or mascara primer.
The curler itself is silver with pink accents. The interior grips of the handles are pink rubber and the eyelash comb and pad are pink rubber too. I found the curler to be pretty easy to use, and similar to ones I have used before. The idea behind the comb, which is its main point of difference, is to “separate lashes for flawless mascara application”. I did not find the comb particularly effective in this regard. It may be my stumpy, sparse lashes made it difficult, or my eyes are too round, but I did not notice much of a difference between this, and a regular eyelash curler. Still, the curler was sturdy and comfortable to hold - the rubber grips in the handles being particularly effective – and overall it was just as good, if not better, than any other eyelash curler I have tried, only with a bonus comb!
Tips: Do not use this while wearing mascara or mascara primer.
