Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

I’m a huge maybeline fan. This is another sensational mascara to join my mascara crew.

I’ve definitely started refreshing my mascaras more often than I use to and stumbled across this wee gem. As usual farmers had a sale and I picked this up super cheap which was one of the most appealing factors.

I am also a huge fan of the brush. It coats nice and evenly. Spreading my lashes while it goes and lengthening. It doesn’t look thick and clumpy when worn and thank goodness because I’m not a fan of unnatural looking lashes.

It’s a nice formula I find it doesn’t tend to spread, crumble or flake and it also dries pretty quick. It is a bit of a tough formula to wash off but I find a little soak and it comes away nicely.

I definitely would repurchase I am a fan just like the majority of the other maybelline mascaras you can’t really go wrong.

This mascara is amazing! Its super affordable and does what it says it will. Gives my short, straight lashes serious volume and length that lasts all day. The only issue I have is it's quite a wet formula and often smudges on my eyelid, but it's not hard to wipe off with a cotton bud.

Quite hard to remove when washing my face so I have to use eye makeup remover before cleansing to prevent panda eyes!

Maybelline has a huge range of affordable and amazing mascaras, which can be overwhelming. I have tried and love many, but I always come back to the lash sensational mascara. I love the lengthening and separating effect that it gives my lashes. I found it is a great everyday mascara, however you can add more layers for the perfect night out lash. I would compare lash sensation to benefit's roller lash mascara. - Both give a very similar effect. It also does not smudge under my eyes and does not dry out as quickly as other mascaras.

I adore this mascara! I've tried a few mascaras from Maybelline and I was never a fan of the more shiny finish from their other mascaras. I needed to buy a waterproof one for my wedding and heard many great things about this so I bought myself one to try. I’m loving it until now. I have straight and stubborn asian lashes but this keeps my lashes curled even after application (I’ve tried up to 3 coats). It has a more natural finish up to two coats provided you don’t apply excessively and it does a good job of fanning my lashes. Most importantly, it doesn’t smudge or flake AT ALL which is amazing. I don’t apply to my lower lashes though so I won’t be able to comment in that area.

The only thing is, it being waterproof also means it’s not so easy to take off. I apply a mascara remover (oil) from Heroine Make and wait a few seconds before pressing with a makeup wipe or washing it off. It’s the same for most waterproof mascaras and I’ve had a harder time with other brands.

I bought this while hunting for a really nice washable mascara. I love washable and tubing formulas because they are so easy to clean off - using my natio face wash in the shower, all my makeup comes off in one go. The first time I applied this mascara I thought - WOW!

Pros: - Lengthens and fills out lashes beautifully - Really do get that fan effect - Can build it up thicker for dramatic evening eyes - No clumping! - Stays put. No smudging. Formula does not run if gets wet in the rain. (another bonus for using tubing and washable formulas, you don't get panda eyes!) - Washes off easily with gentle face wash and water.

Cons: - If you prefer to use makeup remover, then expect some black smudging. This will wash off using warm water and your face wash though. Its just the formula. - Otherwise, can't think of any con.

Overall - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This product if just as good, if not better, than high end mascaras. Found my HG mascara!

This mascara was all I used once it came out. It made my lashes so long and voluminous. After a few uses I did start to see that it clump my lashes together, however it still did it's job.

Somehow I keep repurchasing this and sometimes I'm not sure why. The formula is wet and it gets all over my hooded lids. I curse, I swear and I wear it and buy it again.

That said, I love the small curve for getting right to the base of my lashes and then the fan side for adding some ooomph. Even works well with lash plumpers such as the Lancome Cils Booster and gives a false lash effect which I just love because falsies don't love me.

I have this in brownish-black for a more natural look, but I wish it leant more towards brown.
