I didn't like this product. I found it difficult to apply, and it dried too quickly. Leaving my face looking patchy

Tips: Avoid this product or add moisturizer to help it spread
This BB Cream comes in a cardboard type tube using 49% less plastic which is better for the environment. The product dispenses nicely with not too much coming out at once.
I used the light colour and found it to be more of a light/medium so if you have very light skin this would likely be a bit dark. Even on my skin it was a bit darker than what I would normally use.
This contains hyaluronic acid to help keep your skin hydrated and with aloe vera extract to quench the skin. It also contains mineral pigments for a radiant finish. Plus SPF 25.
For me this formula didn't sit well on my skin, it clung to dry parts and was a bit streaky and was very shiny as if it contained an oil. This also made my eyes water even when I didn't apply it around my eyes. Unfortunately I won't be using this again even though I gave it a thorough test, I would rather add some moisturizer to my foundation.
Tips: This may work for others as our skin types are all different so don't let my experience put you off.
I had high hopes for this bb cream, it smells lovely and is easy to get out of the tube. It appears to be quite thick, but goes on well. However coverage is very sheer and not enough for me. I wore it on its own and under my favorite foundation and I preferred it under as a base. I love the fact that it has spf 25, and is very moisturizing. But I really wanted more coverage. I like how moisturizing it is, but the coverage is so sheer its more like a moisturizer than any sort of foundation. I found it made my skin quite shiny too.. I'll use it up but probably won't repurchase it.
Tips: Use a dusting of powder to get rid of the shine.
I'm a bit sad about this particular review, I am a regular user of the original formula of this BB cream, and even the "natural" formulas. I use one of those two at least every other day, I often don't use anything else foundation wise as it tends to be too heavy and drying on my skin. I purchased this particular formula as I had heard many good things about it and as an aging woman, I thought I may as well give the anti aging one a try but I honestly won't be ever buying this again. The coverage is OK, however the second I put it on (no matter how little I actually use or which method I try for application) I can watch it then instantly orange on me. I use the lightest shade, as I do with all the shades I've purchased from this brand. It seems to be purely this anti-aging variety which turns me orange! It's awful.
Tips: I'm a neutral/ yellow undertone and this turns me orange. May be ok for the pinker undertones like my mother but wouldn't recommend otherwise.
For me having sunscreen in make-up is a no-brainer. I forget to put it on otherwise! Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 even smells like sunscreen to me. And sadly it did the same thing as sun screen does, somehow melting into my eyes and stinging like crazy until i flushed it out. I planned to use Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 as a weekend light coverage sunscreen and skin perfector all in one. The product was light in feeling on the skin.....almost too watery? Light colour was good for my fair skin but there was a slight orange tinge to it, whereas I probably need a more rosy tone. I Initially cautiously applied a light coverage with my fingertips. But out in the hot 26 degrees, it melted very quickly. So I tried again, applying more thickly with a sponge followed, by setting powder, as I would a foundation. But it was still a melted to a hot mess. Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 just did not sit well on my face in summer....it would be interesting to see the winter experience in comparison. I applaud Garnier on use of the cardboard based tube used in packaging. Reducing the use of plastic is to be encouraged. Their work in this area was well documented/advertised on their packaging......in-fact their eco stance dominates the box. Overall a product I would not buy again and would only cautiously recommend to friends.
Tips: If you already have oily skin, be wary of this product on your face.
I tried this. There are things I like about it including the amount you get for what you pay for I also like that it smells good and has special additives to benifit skin. However I would not re purchase because it gave me no coverage even with two coats it wasn't right just a bit orangey still all my blemishes showed through its basically a moisturizer no point in using it to colour correct or anything. I've used other BB with better coverage. I guess if you put a powder foundation on top this could make a nice base but don't buy it if your expectations are to conceal anything. It was a bit more moisturising than the regular BB cream but not intense like I recall the older formulation. I would use this just like a regular face moisturizer
What I like:
- It provides very light coverage that's perfect for "no makeup" look as it still shows freckles and other natural things that make my skin look normal. It does softens fine lines and evens out the skin a little bit.
- It's very hydrating, I don't need to wear any moisturiser underneath. With bonus spf 25.
- The cream glides smoothly on my skin.
- The light shade is perfect for me.
- No strong scent, always a winner.
- Cardboard tube is surprisingly sturdy and pleasing to the eyes while being good for the environment.
What I don't like:
- Putting more layers doesn't give me increasing coverage. Therefore it doesn't deliver that claim on the box.
- Way too shiny, it makes my skin looks super wet, as if my face is sweating oil. Even my kid commented on that. Didn't make me look glowy. I had to tone it down with a lot of powder.
- Something in the formula caused my skin to breakout with a few pimples. I think it's also way too moisturising for my combination skin.
I think it's more suitable for winter use and for people with dry skin type. Pity that, as I do like the shade.
Tips: It's probably best for someone with dry/very dry skin.
I use this when I don’t feel like putting heaps of makeup on it has great coverage and has spf in it which is really convenient. It blends with things really really nicely aswell
First i noticed was the fragrance which was really nice, no chemical smell. The colour was light, i thought it was going to be too dark but it blended well into my skin with an even coverage. The SPF25 was great as the other BB creams i have used have been SPF15. I did notice some of my lines were softened. I only wish you could get a bigger tube then 50mls.
Tips: make sure you have cleaned your skin before you apply the BB cream
I love a good BB cream and am still on the search for my holy grail. This was on special at Countdown for $10 so in my cart it went. I got the shade light as I have fair skin. I love how the tube is made of cardboard! Very environmentally friendly.
It has a floral/sunscreen scent that isn't my favourite, consistency wise it is medium....it doesn't run off your hand nor is it really thick. I love anything that has hyaluronic acid in it as my skin needs it.
I have applied this using my fingers and my RT sponge, I prefer my sponge. It goes on nicely but for me it literally looks like I have nothing on my face at all and it doesn't blur anything or cover any redness. The colour is ok but I saw random orange spots from where it hadn't fully rubbed in. I also found that it transfers so bad onto my sunnies.
This for me was a huge let down and it's not even something I would wear around the house. I will be passing it on to someone else and see if they get better results.
Tips: Suprised so many people like it!
