On first impression, the packaging was too busy, too much information, however it looked environmentally friendly and the information was necessary. As with everything, I wanted to judge the scent of it - subtle but pleasant. I use my fingers to apply BB cream, and confess I used the usual amount I have used with other BBs. Not needed! Just a tiny bit is necessary, it's very economical to use. The coverage was excellent, it went on smoothly, absorbed well and left just the right amount of colour for me. I was initially concerned it may not last the day, as I wear a mask at work for several hours at a time... it LASTED ALL DAY. Because I have fine lines I was keen to see how it sat over those areas, guess what? Covered them and blended light age spots. I was in the market for a new, more cost effective BB Cream and I have found the perfect one for me. I loved this BB Cream and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a moisturiser with some colour. Your skin, and your purse will appreciate this product from Garnier.

Tips: Don't use as much as you think you will need, it is lush.
Thank you BR team for selecting me to trial and review this product and share my views with others in the community. It has been a great pleasure to receive and trial different beauty brands during 2021 and so again I would like to thank everyone at BR for making this happen.First impression of the outer packaging was impressive, the description, ingredients and everything else I needed to know about the product were clear and easy to read.I love how Garnier have taken a sustainable approach with their eco designed packaging, less plastic, minimal waste and greener ingredients and this is clearly noted on their packaging.I thought it was very innovative and clever seeing the product in a cardboard tube instead of a plastic one.The lid was a flip top one which made dispensing the product easy, mess free and quick to apply. The colour I chose was light and at first glance I was like,oh my lord! this colour looks way too dark for my fair skin but actually I was pleasantly surprised because it melted into my skin perfectly leaving me with a more even skin tone and not like the "Oompa Loompa" look that I was so worried about. My skin certainly had a healthier dewier look to it and my fine lines did appear smoothed out but I can't say my skin felt more elastic after only using for one week perhaps with longer time use it may.I liked how there was a SPF 25 in the formula although I did feel this rating needs to be more 30 SPF or higher especially in NZ.The one thing I didn't like about this BB cream was the smell I just found it too strong and overpowering although it did appear to wear off as the day went on.The texture was very thin and light and easy to blend into your skin which I really liked so for a day time look with a more "barely there" make up look this is perfect but if you are looking for more coverage then this is the wrong product for you.Overall I do like how my skin looks and feels when wearing this so I would probably buy it because of the anti-aging claims plus it is super affordable and easily accessible instore or online.I feel this is Garniers better BB creams because it is easy to apply and doesn't leave you looking with a "caked" on look,it really does make a difference to your skin.
Tips: No specific tips other then test on skin for 24 hours incase of reaction.I have fairly sensitive skin but did not react to this at all after testing first.
What I like:
- It provides very light coverage that's perfect for "no makeup" look as it still shows freckles and other natural things that make my skin look normal. It does softens fine lines and evens out the skin a little bit.
- It's very hydrating, I don't need to wear any moisturiser underneath. With bonus spf 25.
- The cream glides smoothly on my skin.
- The light shade is perfect for me.
- No strong scent, always a winner.
- Cardboard tube is surprisingly sturdy and pleasing to the eyes while being good for the environment.
What I don't like:
- Putting more layers doesn't give me increasing coverage. Therefore it doesn't deliver that claim on the box.
- Way too shiny, it makes my skin looks super wet, as if my face is sweating oil. Even my kid commented on that. Didn't make me look glowy. I had to tone it down with a lot of powder.
- Something in the formula caused my skin to breakout with a few pimples. I think it's also way too moisturising for my combination skin.
I think it's more suitable for winter use and for people with dry skin type. Pity that, as I do like the shade.
Tips: It's probably best for someone with dry/very dry skin.
I'm a BB cream lover and was really looking forward to trying this out because of the anti ageing and the SPF 25 factor. I like a light coverage which is why I like using a BB cream as a small amount goes a long way. I usually squeeze a small nail sized amount on the back of my hand and I used a brush to blend in onto my face as I feel this gives me the best coverage. Overall I found this BB cream to go on and cover my face well and left me with a lovely colour that was natural. It wore well over the day and and one could easily reapply if needed without looking like one had caked on makeup. Face still felt hydrated after wearing so that was a bonus and loved how it didn't cake up in my fine lines around my eyes. Has a pleasant smell and didn't irritate my eyes like some have in the past.
Tips: Small amount on the back of your hand and use a brush to apply is so much easier.
This BB Cream comes in a cardboard type tube using 49% less plastic which is better for the environment. The product dispenses nicely with not too much coming out at once.
I used the light colour and found it to be more of a light/medium so if you have very light skin this would likely be a bit dark. Even on my skin it was a bit darker than what I would normally use.
This contains hyaluronic acid to help keep your skin hydrated and with aloe vera extract to quench the skin. It also contains mineral pigments for a radiant finish. Plus SPF 25.
For me this formula didn't sit well on my skin, it clung to dry parts and was a bit streaky and was very shiny as if it contained an oil. This also made my eyes water even when I didn't apply it around my eyes. Unfortunately I won't be using this again even though I gave it a thorough test, I would rather add some moisturizer to my foundation.
Tips: This may work for others as our skin types are all different so don't let my experience put you off.
Ive been using this bb cream everyday for at least a year now and im finding it quite good, i have times where its probably a little greasy but i blame that on the spf in it and to be honest thats why im using it, in my opinion a bb cream with spf is the bomb!! In fact most days i just wear this nothing else on my face at least. I find the coverage nice and light not too heavy and the consistency is really good. Its easy to apply evenly and nice and quick too. When your a busy mum why wouldnt you want quick and easy. Definate must try.
This is a product I picked up a while ago from the vault. I have the shade light, which is good in warmer months, but in the colder months is too dark, so I mix it with my CoverGirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation in Porcelain. That works well, and is good for lighter makeup days.
I also have got this BB cream in the SPF 50 and the Classic, and I prefer this and the Classic to the SPF 50, as they have a little bit more coverage, and also the option of a light shade. Although, It would be even better if this came in more shades to suit more people.
This one is also a slightly better shade for me than the Classic, as it's a little more orange/yellow (I have yellow undertones) whereas the Classic is slightly more pink. But it's not very noticeable, as they are both so sheer.
Tips: Careful not to get it in your eyes, as it can sting.
Awesome product, I love how it glides on smoothly and does not feel dense on the skin. When I need a good, but quick and simple everyday makeup look this is my go to!
Tips: Don't use too much! A little goes a long way.
I love this product. Its so light on the skin and gives great coverage for the day, I have worn a mineral powder on top to give a matt finish for a night out.
Tips: I used a brush and a sponge, i found the sponge gave a better finish.
For me having sunscreen in make-up is a no-brainer. I forget to put it on otherwise! Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 even smells like sunscreen to me. And sadly it did the same thing as sun screen does, somehow melting into my eyes and stinging like crazy until i flushed it out. I planned to use Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 as a weekend light coverage sunscreen and skin perfector all in one. The product was light in feeling on the skin.....almost too watery? Light colour was good for my fair skin but there was a slight orange tinge to it, whereas I probably need a more rosy tone. I Initially cautiously applied a light coverage with my fingertips. But out in the hot 26 degrees, it melted very quickly. So I tried again, applying more thickly with a sponge followed, by setting powder, as I would a foundation. But it was still a melted to a hot mess. Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 just did not sit well on my face in summer....it would be interesting to see the winter experience in comparison. I applaud Garnier on use of the cardboard based tube used in packaging. Reducing the use of plastic is to be encouraged. Their work in this area was well documented/advertised on their packaging......in-fact their eco stance dominates the box. Overall a product I would not buy again and would only cautiously recommend to friends.
Tips: If you already have oily skin, be wary of this product on your face.
