I have 6 of the current 7 lipsticks from Gerard Cosmetics. I brought direct and found they have fast delivery. They are all quite matte formulas. They are long lasting. I find I need to apply a lip balm under and with some I need to build the colour up. But once application is made they last and look great. One thing I've found is that these make my teeth look really white. Considering they originate from a teeth whitening company I think this is great!
The shades I have are:
Nude: quite opaque with one swipe, it's a peachy nude.
Buttercup: light pink, quite sheer but buildable. It's creamier then their other shades I've found. Not as long lasting and I tend to get that gross line on the inside of my lips with this!
Tequila Sunrise: I was surprised to find this is my favourite! I don't tend to suit coral but I really liket it on me. It's very vibrant but wearable. Opaque and super long lasting!
1995: This colour represents the year 1995 well, it's a soft brown shade. Can be built up to a darker shade of brown. Very wearable.
Fire Engine: this will make your teeth look so white! A very beautiful classic red. Not as opaque as I thought it would be which was disappointing.
Cherry Cordial: dark vampy plum colour, like the red it takes a few swipes to build up the intensity you usually want with these kind of shades. I only just got this shade for Christmas so haven't tested its longevity yet.
They all have a lovely fruity scent which is nice.
The packaging is very nice, all gold encased. Similar size to MAC lipsticks but maybe a touch rounder. I have found a few faults, some wind down while applying which is very annoying.
I have been collecting all the lipsticks and have a fairly good collection for their glosses too I love the fact that they have a great staying power (best staying power I have had in a lipstick) They are super pigmented though and long lasting with out bleeding colour all over your face, and don't forget their cute packaging, like a gold bullet
although they are not with out fault I have some that have faulty packaging, (applying lipstick and slowly the product is pushed back down so you have to wind it up again to finish application) also their formulates fairy with different colours or release dates, their newer colours are a lot creamer then their originals so if you have dry skin you may well have a little problem.
Tips: If you have dry skin I would recommend to use a lip scrub and apply a moisturising lip product before applying these, only applies to their older colours though (first 6 or so releases)
