I was super excited to try out these, as I've only ever used falsies once or twice before. These definitely have their good points, although this particular style is not quite perfect for me.
Love:
--how natural the actual lashes look. I hate it when falsies look blatantly artificial and plasticky, and these definitely don't. They're super soft (does that sound weird?!) and overall look like (INCREDIBLY amazing) natural lashes.
--how easy they are to apply. They've got a really thin, fairly floppy black band, and as long as you let the glue get tacky first, they don't tend to lift up at the corners like some falsies do.
--The glue included is actually really good quality! It lasts well, doesn't smell too offensive, and dries quickly enough that you're not waiting around for hours to make sure the lashes stay on.
--You can reuse these quite a few times (at least three, judging from my own experiences), provided you pick off the excess glue from the lash band.
Don't Love:
--How *big* these particular lashes are. I don't mean that in terms of having to trim the lash band down - I don't have to do that, and my eyes aren't super large; I mean in terms of length and curl. I wouldn't say that these are "drag" style lashes at all, but for me personally they're just too out there. They don't look merely dramatic - I'm fine with that - they just look plain weird, given that they pretty much hit my browbone. I do have slightly hooded eyes, and that probably doesn't help with that. I think that if you have larger eyes, these would look amazing, just not on me. I LOVE the quality and overall look of the actual lashes though, so I will definitely be trying out some of the more natural styles in the range.
Tips: Apply the glue and let it get slightly tacky before trying to put them on. Also use tweezers to help get the edges perfectly in place - it makes a world of difference!
these are beautiful lashes! i think their more suited for a night out or special occasion ad they are more dramatic and fuller looking. they give amazing definition to the eyes and a real glamorous addition to any eye makeup look.as per the other lashes in the same range, a little expensive and the glue isnt very good.
Tips: apply with your own glue, as i fing the one that comes with it not very good.
SO these lashes are for the party girl, you know the one, the over the top loud girl! Or maybe her ballerina sister, or drag queen brother. But you get my point, they are big and dense and BOLD! I gave them a 2/5 for if I would use them again. Only because for me these are a too much. I love me some lash but I would prefer it was one of those "is she? isn't she?" situations when it comes to recognising I have them on. This is the kind of lash I would keep for a dancing recital, a costume party.... Not really even for a big done up night look. They are long and thick. They do what they say they will do, they are luscious looking. And I would recommend to a friend if she were going to a costume party or something similar. But I wouldn't let a friend buy these for a night out. Good friends don't let friends go out looking like drag queens ;) They have a black band for the lash base which can be tricky to blend without having a good amount of black liner at the lash base as well. Having said all that dancers and stage performers, get on board! these will be perfect for you!
Tips: I wouldn't wear these as is. However cut right down the use the outer third of my eye layered under some individuals across the entire lash line will give a dramatic look with not too much drag to it. I also would get yourself down to MAC and buy some DUO glue to stick them on. Theres nothing wrong with the glue provided but DUO glue is the business, and my worst nightmare is a falsies popping off and landing in my cocktail. They also cut up nicely to use as individual lashes, done be afraid to customise your falsies to what you need.
I have used false lashes quite a lot and these were good. You need to prepare them as in trimming to size first. Then I use a pair of tweezers to hold one end and press them into place, then I use the tweezers to gently press them tight against the base of my lashes. Once they are in place a bit of eyeliner makes them blend in. these lashes are really long and glamorous and my husband commented as they are more full on than my usual look. They lasted the whole night and came off easily. I also liked that they are still in shape after removal and can be reapplied, some I have used are unusable after one use.
Tips: Pre trim to shape, use tweezers to place and then press close to lash line. Remove gently and they will be good to use again.
I did not enjoy using these lashes, the whole range is super hard to work with as the band is thick and hard to bend to the shape you need. The glue is really tricky to work with aswell and not really strong enough to hold the thick band from flicking out on the insides.
Overall I do not think they are worth that Money.
These were my go-to lashes for years in high school, they're the perfect length, shape and thickness - for a beginner. Now that I've had time to trial several other brands, I prefer to use sets with invisible bands as they're less irritating and are more forgiving if the lashes are sitting ever so slightly out of place. I still think these are a great quality set for anyone looking for less dramatic falsies.
Tips: Use a clear glue, things can get messy when using gunky white glue!
Really like this brand of lashes and quite liked this set!! I have naturally quite long lashes I found they fit nicely and weren't excessively long (which I often find with full strip lashes).
I applied these with my regular Ardell lash glue and found they stayed on really well. I didn't end up using them as a full strip lash but I did cut them in half and then used them on the outer half of my lash for a more every day look.
All in all a great set of lashes but I'd be careful of your natural lashes are short as they may end up look to fake!
Tips: Use them with the Ardell clear glue and your good to go!!
they are so full and luscious. I would wear these day or night time. They also look really natural when you wear them
Tips: make sure the glue is tacky before you apply them
I really like this range of lashes. They don't look trashy or fake like some other brands I have tried. The 'Gwen' lashes are awesome they look so long and full and blend well with my natural short lashes.
For more of a glam look I use the 'Rhianna' lashes with glitter in them. They look amazing in photographs, I use them in competitions and photo shoots.
Tips: Once in place carefully use the tweezers to hold down the corners for a few seconds to make sure they are stuck properly. Good luck !
I'll start off by saying I've previously only used lashes from $2 style shops. My eyes are small and hooded and usually fake lashes are very drag like on me. The first thing I noticed with these lashes is the band is very thin, these lashes look more natural and feel more comfortable sitting on my lash line than those cheaper ones I tried. They are not heavy so do not weigh my lid down. The lashes are soft and very pretty. They are dramatic however not drag like at all. The glue is decent so my lashes stayed on until I took them off myself. (Nearly 4 hours) I'll definatly be trying more from this in this range.
