I have never had much success with fake lashes, so I wasn't 100% convinced that I was the right person to trial these. I was still curious though and enjoyed the experience. The concept sounds good on paper - dip them in water and you don't need glue - easy enough - that was the part I liked best, because the glue can be messy! I had to trim the lashes slightly. I dipped them briefly and then applied. Went on easy enough but not convinced they have enough staying power to last a whole day or evening. I like the fact that they are re-usable, and I will use them with a lash adhesive next time. I have taken off one point for that because they don't sit securely enough to my liking. They are soft and wispy and add beautiful length. The colour is gorgeous and the effect is very pretty. So, yes, I love them, but not sure that I would feel comfortable to recommend them to my friends just in case they end up with their lashes falling off into their dinner.

Tips: Use a lash adhesive to secure the lashes if they don't stick well enough.
My first surprise was they do actually stick! I honestly didnt have very high hopes for the stick factor- it took a little finesse-ing to get it right but they stayed- surprisingly well stuck too! Secondly- I personally thing the lash band where the adhesive goes is quite thick- it’s hard to get a natural look- but the wispyness and length of the lash it’s self was very pretty! The glue was only on the one edge so it did lend itself for slightly down turned lashes which I wasn’t loving. Next- boy did they stick on, then it occurred to me; to get them off I would have to wet the band, which made my eye make up run into my eye… which hurt like the proverbial…. Final thoughts- gorgeous lash set but execution maybe lacking? Also the clue dots that was holding the lash on to the packaging sticks to the lash band and caused issues for me no matter how much I tried to pick it off.
Tips: This could be great for those with glue/latex allergies? Wear waterproof mascara underneath so it doesn’t run when You take them off
Now I’m not usually a lash wearer but these were awesome. They’re so lush and full, quite bold for me, but wearable for a special occasion! The application was a little tricky, though I think this could be user error, I needed tweezers to help me get them on nicely. The water based application is a great idea and makes sense for those of us who don’t wear regularly as we don’t have glue floating around unused. They stayed on far longer than I expected with no lifting. And they came off easily without pulling. The packaging is sleek and compact, easy to pop into your makeup bag. I’d be interested to see how these wear for more than a few hours at a time but all signs point to them being long wearing!
Tips: Make sure you give them a good clean between wears to ensure best longevity.
These came in great slimline packaging with simple instructions. The were easy to get out. Mine were needed to be cut down slightly as the were quite right but otherwise they were easy to apply and looked great. The lashes felt nice and were just the perfect length.
Tips: Read the instructions and take your time
Application was easy dripped the lashes into water for 60 seconds do each one separately so you don't mix up the left and right eye. Use a pair of tweezers wait until the strip is tacky before applying to make it easier to attach. Coverage it covers across both eyes easily I could of even cut a little bit off to fit them on a little better. Longevity stayed on all day without issue it did come off a little from the inside of my eye after it was a little watery. Usage is 3 uses which is great as most fake lashes are one time use only. Price is under 15 dollars from the pharmacy which isn't a bad price makes it cheap if you use it over 3 wears. Packaging was basic but makes it obvious as to what is in the packing which is perfect when you are looking for false lashes. Results well attached lashes they did feel a little heavy on my eyes for some reason. I tried out the natural lashes they didnt look natural enough for me they did look more fake so great for when you want to look all glam when going out. Would I recommend this product to friends and family? Yes I would it does the trick and no fuss with glue that sticks to the eye line and lashes which is fantastic. I feel the natural lashes are more than enough for length and volume.
These come in a nice, attractive box, you can see the lashes through the clear panel in front.
Easy to take out of box and easy to apply just by slightly wetting then. They have a great look to them and are not to intense.
They do tend to be a bit hard to get off but I can definitely use them again.
Tips: Make sure you wet them enough to stick, but also use enough water to get them off.
I wasn’t going to put my hand up for this trial as I’ve never used false lashes, and I live in a beach town where makeup is not huge. But I thought I would actually be a good candidate for this reason, are these lashes idiot proof? The add says effortless application so I thought I would give this a go. The packaging was a good size to slip into a makeup bag and protected the lashes well. The lashes themselves looked pretty!! So pretty. So I got quite excited. I did it in the bathroom and dunked them under the tap, dropping them a few times in the sink. The packet said wait 60 seconds and then apply, however I used those 60 seconds to adjust and readjust till I was happy, which took a bit. After all my fumbling they went on easy peasy and looked amazing. Drool worthy lashes. So yes I can officially say they are not only idiot proof, but drop and fumble proof. The only thing was, it did feel like I had taped sticks to my eyelids as they were quite rigid. I did like that fact that can be used a few times though, that was a bonus. So I do recommend giving these a try.
Tips: Remember to wet them before pulling them off…..
Wow these eye lashes are amazing and so easy to use.. no hunting around the makeup draw for glue...!! these were super easy to use and they didn't come off, felt very secure and they were easy to come off too!!
Tips: I used tweezers to put them on and luke warm water! very easy!!!
I was so excited to try these, I love wearing false lashes, but sometimes the battle with the adhesive just doesn't provide results worth sticking with.
So I was keen these new lashes that would hopefully put up less of a fight.
The packaging is the standard Manicare packaging with a clearly labelled left and right lash.
They look the same as their other lashes except for the lash band is thicker and feels almost cruchy if you bend the lashes, and at each end of the lash band, there is excess band. I found for me cutting off the excess at both ends madr wearing the lashes more comfortable. Then I snipped that outer end to cut then down for size.
To activate the adhesive, you need to dip the lashes into water. The instructions reccomend 60 seconds, but I found 30 worked just as well. A glass is the easiest way to dip them. You could run then under a tap, but you'd waste a lot of water.
Then it is just applying and wearing your lashes as usual.
To remove, you'll want a flannel with cold water to gently coax the lashes off. With normal glue I'd just pull my off, but these ones seemed a lot more cemented on.
Final thoughts: I would derfintiely wear these again. They are less messy than traditional lashes and while you may get one or two less wears out of them, you can get more than the 3 wears predicted on the instructions. The other big winner for me is that they didn't lift at the edges like I often find traditional lashes do.
This is a real step forward for false lashes.
Tips: Snip both ends of the lash band for comfort and have a glass of water handy for dipping the lashes into.
These turned up just in time for the Auckland level change and for my work Christmas party.
I'm fairly experienced with lashes and really loved the idea of water activated lashes but was highly sceptical so I tried them out the night before rather than risking a disaster on the day!
So first things first actually getting them to activate in water was really really hard. I ended up needing to use one of my makeup brushes to get the water on the lash line (do not dunk like I intially did!).
They applied fine but I felt as though they were not as secure as if I had done them with glue.
They looked lovely and had a great curl and I will likely wear them again but to be honest I think I will stick with regular glue lashes.
