Glam By Manicare Pre-glued Lashes - Billie

I haven't used a whole lot of false lashes in my life but mainly that's because I am pretty pushed for time! I live a very busy lifestyle so convenience is important to me and these are perfect for that! Pre glued is brilliant, as long as you got a steady enough hand to apply, they're so easy and quick and lasts for a good night or day out! They don't last more than that from my experience by it's also all I need them to last for personally, a special occasion! I tried the natural Billie lashes and they were perfect and natural, just added a touch more oomph to my lashes without being too much. I love that they're cruelty free and didn't effect my eyes as I do have very sensitive eyes. They are super affordable too so I would absolutely recommend these to a friend! If you can't book in to get your lashes done professionally last minute, a pair of these Glam lashes are perfect!

Having never put on or worn false eyelash before, I was curious to see how easy they would be to put on. While I wouldn't say that I nailed it first time, I was able to put them on pretty well and they only needed a slight adjustment.

I was also pleasantly surprised by how natural they look, how comfortable they are and how secure they feel.

They retail for $12-$14 which is a pretty good price for a one time use product for a special occasion. They come well packaged to protect them and they are easy to get out of the packaging.

I would definitely recommend this product although make sure you give yourself a good amount of time to put them on when using them for the first time.

I like the natural lash length of these and them being pre glued did make them a bit easier to put on. But for a lash novice like me, I still don’t think I got it exactly right. Also the lash band is very thick and noticeable, which would be ok if you were doing a full face of glam but I was going for a natural no make-up look as the lashes were a short natural length. But the lash band was a bit dramatic for what I was looking for and really needed to have some eye liner to go with it. I did appreciate that they are cruelty free and latex free, which makes them more accessible. But they are just one use, which makes them different to other lashes I’ve used before that you glue yourself. So it does mean that they don’t seem as sustainable. Still these could be a good choice if you are just wanting to wear lashes for a special occasion.

Stoked to be accepted on this trial. The lash style is gorgeous and fluttery. Is as easy to apply as one would imagine being pre glued. However, I found it didn't stick as well compared to standard glue which I found surprising. May be a contributing factor, I wore the lashes after putting on my eyeshadow. May be that is why it didn't stick as well? Probably would have better staying power if applied alone without eyeshadow.

Given my experience with this type of lash, I still prefer the old school glue over these pre glued. Think these would be a great starter product for these new to lashes.

I was really looking forward to trying the out as I tend to struggle with applying falsies and this seemed like the next best thing.

This style is beautiful not too dramatic and the lashes aren’t too long or wide therefore there was no need to trim them.

I tried these lashes over a simple eye makeup, this style is more suited to a dramatic eye look as the pre glued lash band is quite dark and thick. Not a problem though.

I took the lashes off the tray with alot of excitement and applied them to my eyes. The lash did not stick though. I could see that they were sticky in some parts like towards the end of the lashes however not entirely secure, the front of the lash just would not stick. I tried to apply some lash glue to it to help however due to the thick silicon glue that was already on the lash the lash glue wouldn’t hold and would just slid off.

Unfortunately I was left disappointed as these did not work for me the way I hoped they would.

This was my experience, please don’t let my opinions put you off trying these lashes as you might have more success than I did.

These are super easy and quick to apply. They looked amazing and stayed on the entire night. I did have a little issue with both lashes not sticking down at the centre edge (the end of the lash closest to the centre of my eye, not the edge on the outer of my eye) but to be honest I have this issue with every single pair of false lashes I've ever applied so it is probably user error. The lashes took me about 20 - 30 seconds to apply to each eye, I was very impressed with how easy they were to use and they immediately took my look from average to stunning. I would absolutely keep a set of these in my hand bag for short notice emergencies. I used tweezers to pull the lashes off the plastic as that's what the instructions show but I sort of mucked up the first one as I pulled from the sticky part so then the lashes stuck to my tweezers, but they came off easy enough without me tearing them or any loss of the glue. They fit perfectly so I did not need to trim them and they stuck down immediately and were perfectly lined up with my lash line. Once I had them stuck down I just used my finger to sort of brush them and my natural lashes upwards and they were instant glam. Could not recommend these enough. At the end of the night, they were still perfectly in place and came off super easy and did not leave any sticky residue.

I love the idea of pre glued lashes and they are great however I did find they were not long enough, so the band of glue/black line was quiet pronounced, this meant using an eye liner to fill the gap between the end of the glue band and outer corner of your lashes. Billie does gives you a great natural classic look with a bit of eye liner to enhance the eyes and give a subtle lashed up look. These are great for a one time use and throw away if you are not a regular false laser user.

I am in love with pre-glued lashes. Honestly it is way easier than dealing with eyelash glue, eyeliner glue pen, magnetic lashes and magnetic liners.

The quality of the glue strip is really good and super sticky. As soon as it touches skin it attaches very well, but it's still removable if you need to adjust the placement. Application takes less than a minute.

I didn't have any trouble with applying it over eye makeup, and it stayed on really well with no worries about the corners.

This style is a classic natural look that's flattering, without the drama of flared ends.

I personally did not like these lashes, and I would not use them again. I love the concept and idea of pre glued lashes but they were very annoying to put on and so fiddly. I much prefer magnetic lashes. The glue line was also very thick and noticeable and the lashes were quite small, not enough lash for me to use for my daily wear.
