Glam By Manicare Pre-glued Lashes - Billie

So i have tried a million types of lashes and i wear false lashes every weekend so i was super stoaked to be a part of this trial team! Firstly i didnt love the Billie lashes as i do prefer more dramatic lashes but thats just my opinion so that was okay. I found these surprisingly super hard to apply, the lash band was really thick so without eyeliner i don't think they would've looked very good, the adhesive was really good they stuck on so well but my issue was i like to play around with my lashes and get them looking perfect but i found these really difficult as they stuck straight away so i couldnt really position them how i wanted to with ease. I sometimes struggle to stick lashes to my inner corner but these stuck down which was really good. They lasted the whole day and night as i had a day event then a night event so that was a huge bonus! I dont think i would be buying these in the future though as i really didnt like the way the lash band looked and i felt like i struggled more with these than regular false lashes.

I have never used pre glued lashes and I found these easier than I thought it would be. They were easy to line up and stick on. They look lovely and natural and super easy to remove. I would purchase and use again.

I really love the idea of pre glued lashes as I am usually quite impatient when waiting for glue to get tacky! These definitely were sticky & would be amazing for people who wear a thick winged liner. Although I don't usually wear eyeliner & so the glue strip was very visible. I also found the application was quite hard as I have quite long eyelashes, the glue wanted to stick to my lashes on the way to my skin & would keep getting caught up. Love the idea but just not quite for me. I would definitely recommend these to a friend as they are super easy to use!

These pre-glued lashes were so easy to apply, lightweight on the eyes and lasted all day! They definitely delivered and did what they said they would. The best part is that you don't have to wait for the glue to dry, and you don't have any troubles sticking down the corners. However, the Billie lashes say they are a 'natural' looking pair of lashes, but unfortunately the thick band (where the glue sits) makes them look bulky along the lash line. I love the idea of a pre-glued lash and how easy they are to apply, but if you're after a natural lash keep in mind that the lash band on these is quite thick.

Loved these false eyelashes! Very excited to wear these to a party last week. After doing my eye makeup I added these to glam me up. I did struggle with the first one as they are very sticky (but they need to be) and felt all fingers and thumbs. Once I mastered how to hold them the second lash went on quickly. So much easier than using glue. Loved the length and thickness, just right. They blended well with my own lashes but gave depth and length. The dark black baseline added depth to my smokey eyes. Asked my friends what they thought and they all thought they were my own lashes and that I had a new mascara on that's how natural they look. The only downside is they say for only one use. Surely not and I'm going to try to wear them again this weekend. It seems a lot of packaging for a single use.

I was very excited to try this as of course I wanted beautiful full lashes! I like the way the lashes are visible through the packaging. After reading the instructions, I used my tweezers to lift the lashes from the package. It really sticks to it though and you really have to pull it which stressed me as I thought I might tear it, but didn't. Instinct took over and I grabbed the lashes with my fingers. Disaster! Eventually I get the lashes on and it feels heavy and unnatural to me. I don't like it. I can't say anything bad about the product, it just doesn't work for me. I would maybe give the magnetic type a try next time. If that doesn't work for me, I might just stick with my own.

I am always super jealous of friends and colleagues who can apply temporary lashes flawlessly while my lack of confidence in applying lash glue has meant I’ve never gelled with falsies.

I was so excited to try the Glam By Manicare® pre-glued lashes. Billie is a very natural looking lash set though the cushioned band did give away the secret. They are pretty simple to apply (and much quicker than messing around with glue!) - peel them off the plastic, put in place, trim if needed and press on.

The band is sticky enough that they stayed in place all day yet they were easy enough to remove. Some stickyness did remain even after cleansing but was removed easily with a little facial oil.

I would definitely use the Glam By Manicare® pre-glued lashes again to glam up for an event however at around $13 for a single use they’re not an everyday solution. I also wish the plastic packaging components could be reduced.
