Ruby-Grace are gorgeous, fluffy, multilayered with the perfect amount of length variation to produce a full lash line. Each lash is perfectly tapered which is a plus for me, combined with the varied length and layers it makes blending into my own lashes a breeze. Usually I’m not fond of a thick lash band, especially one that is solid black because it makes blending into my lash line impossible, for these Glam XPress lashes it definitely is a bonus! The band is flexible enough that it doesn’t feel stiff or hard to manipulate into place, the black makes it blend nicely into the adhesive eyeliner which is helpful while getting used to using this combo. The adhesive is really nicely presented in a sleek gold plastic pen with a cap that is easy enough to remove and clip back on securely without popping off on its own. Definitely easy to throw in your handbag for on the go applications which is something you don’t get with a lot of lash adhesives. The tip is a sturdy felt tip with the perfect amount of flexibility, both thick and thin lines are easy to achieve and the product itself is opaque, deep black that dries pretty quickly and retains a tackiness to it. This is definitely where I had a bit of trial & error. I’m used to letting my lash adhesive become a bit tacky before applying the lashes, with this product it’s very fast moving needing to draw on eyeliner that looks acceptable before quickly applying the lash. I found drawing on a basic line, adhering the lash then going in and fixing up the lines to get them even was best followed by a touch of black eyeshadow over the top to get rid of the tackiness. Removal is simple, gently pull off lashes then remove makeup with an oil & butter based make up remover balm, it’s my current go to which gets rid of even the most stubborn waterproof makeup. I’ve worn these a total of 7 times now, the first day I had a few mishaps with an edge coming lose but it was simple enough to fix, since then though I haven’t had any issues with them coming unstuck. They’re definitely a nice option to have for when I want something with a bit more ‘OMPH’

Tips: Gently flex the lash band almost rolling it like a caterpillar walks a few times before wearing. It makes the band easier to fit to your lash line. If they require trimming to match your eye length, always trim from the outside edge.
I like the opacity of the liner formula. The brush tip makes it easy to create thin or thick lines. Unlike traditional lash glue where it's best to wait a while for it to get tacky, this formula is at it's stickiest from first application. I did a few test swipes on the back of my hand to see how long it stays sticky for, and it does stay sticky for quite a while. I would even go as far as to say that it never quite dries down completely. It was still about 10% sticky after about an hour, but that didn't prove to be an issue when wearing it. The lashes themselves seem to be quite short. Usually, I have to trim lashes just a tiny bit but these ones could have even been a little longer ideally (I do have big eyes though). Applying them was fairly easy. If you have to reposition the lash, it doesn't get messy or gloopy as I've experienced with normal lash glue. Being able to apply the liner adhesive first means you have more control over the placement so, in that respect, it was easier than normal lash glue. The only issue I had is that if you mess up applying the liner, it's a bit of a mission to clean up (you REALLY have to scrub to get it off!). My eyes did get itchy a couple of times throughout the day but I can not be sure if it was the lash glue or not. Unsurprisingly, if you go over the same area multiple times with the liner (filling in gaps or tidying up lines etc) it is sticky so it can tug ever so slightly, but not to the point that it's unworkable.
Other than that, they were light and comfortable to wear (I had the Natural set). The biggest downside is just removing the liner when you've finished wearing the lashes.
I would use it again and would be interested in picking up the other styles too.
Edit: after using this for a while longer, I've come to find that the eyeliner dries up really fast. So you really only get a few weeks to use the eyeliner. I still use the lashes but with regular lash glue now.
Tips: If you want a winged liner, I would recommend first applying your normal eyeliner and then applying the adhesive liner on top, only where you will apply the lashes.
Do one eye at a time so that you have maximum stickiness for best application.
Have a good eye makeup remover handy for removing the liner at the end of the day.
This took me by complete surprise, I was confused about how an eyeliner could also be an adhesive....but it actually works!
So the adhesive liner that comes in the pack is a really nice quality,it has a super fine felt pen style tip that makes application super easy. It glides on really well and is the blackest of black.
The lashes I recieved were Ruby Grace which are very beautiful and comfortable to wear with a thin band that makes application even easier.
So for the application process, I draw on my liner wing it out slightly and then press the lashes on. There was no wait time like traditional lash adhesives I just popped them on straight away and they stuck down easily. I did notice that it needs to be a thickish line in order for a good stick tho, it does stick to the thinner line but it pops off after a few minutes so the thicker the line the better I found. The lashes wore really well and I didn't have to much trouble with them, the corners did try to flick off a little but this was easily fixed with a little touch up of the liner. Overall pretty impressive, I would love to use the liner for using with glitter too which I think would work really well to create a fun glitter wing.
Tips: Do a double application of liner for no budge lashes. So after applying lashes do another coat over the top.
This is definitely my new fave when it comes to lashes, the natural set i got is perfect if you want to look put together without wearing a mask, and with the magnetic eyeliner pen its awesome. They are easy to use and comfortable, Absolutely love this product and have already recommended to friends,
Tips: A few coats of eyeliner is recommended before you appky lashes
Glam by Manicare Xpress Adhesive Eyeliner and Lash Kit was easy to use, use the fine tip eyeliner and apply the lashes, can't get much easier than that! I'm not overly skilled in using flash lashes but I loved not having to use glue and they weren't complicated to apply.
Tips: Use tweezers to apply the lashes and draw a decent line with the eye liner so they have something to grip to
If lashes are an essential makeup product then you’ll love this.
At first I was hesitant as I am used to using lash glue to stick my lashes down but after trying the Natural Ella-Rose I am sold. The eyeliner has a super fine tip with zero smudge on application, it can be built up super easy for a thicker line as well. It is a little less tacky than glue so you do need to work fast to get the eyelashes to stick. The lashes themselves are super light weight but more natural than I would personally go for. There is also zero smell which is a game changer coming from lash glue. Overall the product far exceeded my expectations and they lasted on longer than I thought they would.
Tips: Make sure to measure and cut your lashes but I also curled my natural and the false lash before applying so it was curved. This helps keeps the corners in place
I usually get lash extensions so was really happy to be able to try these Glam Xpress lashes at home! The liner is super easy to put on, I had to slightly trim the lashes to fit and they stayed on beautifully. The liner added a little bit of glam and the lashes looked so natural (I used the Natural set) but were perfect for everyday wear. I’ve used them for several days and they are so easy to use and stay on all day! They are super convenient and so much better than worrying about mascara or even lash extensions. I’m really impressed with the product and would definitely use again, I’d love to try the Intense set for a special occasion. One thing I was really surprised with was how well the lashes sit and last, they look so professional! They don’t feel heavy or itchy like some brands I have tried. Over all I would recommend the Natural lashes for every day wear especially if you’re all about convenience!
Tips: Carefully line the lashes to to fit then trim to size, be patient as they will work and are very easy to use if you take your time. Be very gentle when pulling to remove, it feels nice taking them off and washing your face.
I'm not a pro lash applier, but I have used them in the past. I always had trouble lining the lash to the glue. This was much easier because the glue is a black line - easy to see, easy to line up!
I received the Ruby-Grace style, a long lash style. I needed to trim to fit my eyes, but that was very easy.
The liner was ok to apply, not as smooth as my usual eyeliner pen, but it is adhesive too so I wasn't expecting it to be incredible. I ended up removing the first attempt, and going again with a slower hand.
The lash band is quite thick and stiff, i'm assuming it will soften with use, but I do recommend gently flexing the lashes before applying just to make them a little more pliable.
The lashes stuck easily and stayed put until I removed them. Once we're out of lockdown I'll be looking to try more for sure!
These were perfect for someone like me that isn’t used to putting on falsies at all (I’m terrible with wait for the glue to go tacky) but these worked really well a lot easier and I love the liquid liner look so it was a two in one !
Tips: Let the liquid liner set a little before pressing on (I also sometimes cut the lashes into segments so they are easier to apply rather than trying to attach the whole strip)
I was a little dubious of how this would work at first! Let’s break it down into parts: Lashes - they are cute, light weight and comfortable. Adhesive liner - is pretty user friendly, it certainly leans itself towards a more dramatic winged look (which is fine by me, that’s what I usually wear!) Because it’s an adhesive, it is slightly clunky to apply, in terms of getting a clean wing. But in the grand scheme it’s not too bad.
The problems I had: The front of the lash can be a little hard to get down and do lift after a few hours of wear. They sit better if you trim them and wear them on the outer ⅔ of the lash line where there is more purchase on the adhesive liner.
Tips: Definitely put a primer and some eyeshadow down before you line your eye with the adhesive liner, otherwise the liner stays a little tacky and is a little uncomfortable on the lid.
