This is a game changer. To have an all in one foundation and powder in a slim compact that fits in your purse is wonderful. When I first used it I thought oh no I look like a ghost but when I look again it seemed to sink in and blend beautifully. I cant say what it would look like in 24 hrs but it certainly still looked great after 14 hours. My skin actually seemed to have a subtle glow as opposed to a shine. I would purchase it again.

Tips: Make sure you get the correct shade. Its a bit hard to tell as when it first goes on it seems to sit on top but within minutes it blends beautifully.
From past experience I have avoided powder foundations as they have ended up with a cakey or patchy appearance throughout the day. However, when I tried this L'oreal powder foundation I was pleasantly surprised! It was very easy to apply, went on smoothly with excellent coverage (no need for concealer), it lasted well, infact still looked the same at the end of the day as when I applied it in the morning. It comes in a lovely, easy to hold case which opens to two compartments, one with the foundation and the other with a small mirror and applicator sponge, the sponge is good quality and makes application easy and even. I am so happy I come across this and will continue to use it.
Firstly, the packaging - I am super impressed! It's small and discreet, yet has room for a mirror AND a sponge. The product is compact and is perfect to thrown in your handbag to carry around for touch ups. The product itself is silky smooth and it's definitely on the higher coverage side of things (for a powder). Whilst I didn't wear it for 24 hours, it's definitely long wearing. Most powders seem to fall off on my skin, so I was happy to see this one still on my face at the end of the day. It worked well on its own (which is what I wanted it for) as well as on top of a liquid foundation to set. I have normal-dry skin and sometimes powders can accentuate the dry patches, but this powder didn't do that at all. When I say it's silky smooth, its SILKY smooth! This is a great all round powder, with a longer wear time than most - I recommend it!
Tips: Apply the product with a brush if you'd like a slightly more light-medium coverage. Use the sponge provided for a fuller coverage!
I don't usually wear makeup, and when I do I'm pretty lazy. I found this makeup to be quick and easy, gliding on with no streaks, just perfect powdery matt finish, that made me insta ready in less than 3 minutes! I have red blotches and patchy skin, but this gave me a flawless look. I am considering wearing make up more often now.
Tips: The powder had broken (obviously dropped by the courier), so carefully open it. It was easy to 'press' down into the container again,
I was very curious to see how this worked, as it sounded great and I love L'Oreal products.
Firstly, it comes in a snappy little compact. The top just lifts up and the product is hard underneath, as you'd expect in a pressed powder. It has a nice smell in the compact that I cannot smell on my skin.
I haven't been using foundation lately and not much else either, due to masks etc, but it has been nice to glam up a bit. And I didn't think trying something heavy on my skin would feel good either, mostly because I have mature skin and do worry about caking with heavier products.
I started by trying the product dry - just patting it on as a powder with a dry beauty blender. It was ok, but I really felt like it needed something under it. Since then I have been applying it with a damp sponge, and it is great. Not too heavy, not too light, and a lovely even coverage. It evens out my skin tone and covers my mild but annoying small red patches, and doesn't irritate my sensitive areas. I don't need concealer either. It just leaves a nice, even, matte finish. I can't think of anything at all negative to say about it.
The shade I got is True Beige and it is ideal for my pale skin tone. It lasts very well, and I can't tell any difference at the end of my working day from when I'd applied it in the morning. Which is of course a huge advantage over the BB cream or tinted moisturiser that I usually use.
I'm very impressed with it, especially as it gives such an even tone without being a heavy product or needing to layered thickly.
Its definitely worth a try and I highly recommend it.
Tips: It works better on clean skin with a primer.
Sold as a foundation in the form of a powder, L'Oréal Infallible 24 fresh wear foundation powder comes as a cute purse size all in 1 compact, so handy for day to day use.
But this means a teeny tiny sponge for application. I am more of speed makeup applier, so appreciate a larger sponge which I currently use with a liquid foundation, followed by a dusting powder to set.
I found a damp sponge application didn't glide as well as I hoped. Possibly a primer would help? I didn't try this, as I don't have such a product.......I wonder if this might make for an oiler base that would affect the longevity of the Foundation? I found the damp sponge application caused a streak of coverage and I had to use my big bristled brush to blend it out again.
Dry sponge application gave better controller but lighter coverage which seems to accentuate my open pores around the nose area.
I think continuing with my current liquid foundation gives me the right coverage and control.
The product is a very fine powder....light as a feather. I think going forward I would use this compact, I received to review, as a setting powder on a fluffy brush over liquid foundation. I won't be purchasing L'Oréal Infallible 24 fresh wear foundation powder .......the whole process was just not quick enough for me.
And the matte-ness created the effect of a monotone mask, over which I would need to apply blush, contour etc etc to make me look alive again! I'm more of a quick make-up type gal. I see a younger lady, with greater make-up application skill, using this product to best effect.
It was a struggle to find the right shade for me.130 true beige was my best guess for the trial, but was actually much paler then it appeared on screen. It seems differcult to find a more rosey coloured base...most seem orangey.
In these Covid times, I need to wear a mask most of the day. There definitely was transfer to the edges and cross the nose of the mask. This could mean potential for a touch up during the day.....made easy with a compact size pack, but definitely not all-day wear in my books.
Over this week of trialling, the weather was cooler, and I had no problem with the foundation melting.
Tips: Select your our shade instore for best match
I was super excited to try this powder foundation but unfortunately I found it didn’t last very long on my skin. Perhaps a powder foundation is just not for me as I am normally a liquid foundation wearer. The coverage when I first put it on was good and I loved the feel of it on my skin. It did seem to disappear from my high colour areas of my cheeks and nose within a couple of hours leaving a slightly blotchy finish. I will keep using it though as it may be me learning to apply it in a slightly different way
Tips: I think a primer would help to keep it in place
