I bought this on special a while ago, and I still remember how awful my eyelashes looked (for reference I have naturally long eyelashes that nearly touch my eyebrows). And when I used the primer it made them look sooo clumpy and awful, sure I don't mind a little clumping, but this was way too far. Would not repurchase or recommend! Also it isn't worth the price! Way cheaper drugstore options out there.

L'Oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara Review
Supersized, super long, superstar lashes. The show-stopping false-lash effect is born.
Primer and mascara for a show-stopping lash effect. Super-volumizing primer builds dramatic volume on every lash and creates an ultra smooth base to maximize mascara impact. Fibre-rich mascara extends lashes to the extreme.

I would not be without this mascara (I have a supply to replace when needed, I would hate to be without it). I apply the primer (just as a basecoat of paint) to my lashes making sure I have good coverage. Immediately I apply the black topcoat. For added length and build-up of thickness, I apply a heavier mascara to the top as a third coat. I absolutely love this mascara and many of my friends now use it to create beautiful lashes like mine.
Tips: Do not let the primer dry before applying the black coat.
The primer was gluggy thick and hard to cover with actual mascara. Giving me spider lashes . Thick and clumpy.Surprise surprise. A no from me.
This is great for special occasions where you’re not wanting to put false eyelashes on. I have naturally long lashes and extending them with this was fun and my go to for nights out. I wouldn’t use this every day though. For the price and the size of the tubes - it’s a stretch. The mascara wand also gets quite clumpy after a few uses.
When I was a teen I remember a Loreal mascara that had the white on one end and the black on the other it was very good so of course I would like to try again. I scored one of these not so long ago. It's a bit weird having a double ended mascara packaged this way I'm not a fan of the Criss cross corset type lines on it but at least the silver made it easy to see in handbag. On went the white primer. I coated my lashes with it very well and was careful not to let it dry too much the brush was sort of long and straight the white primer thickened them I think and added length. Over the top of the white went the black. The black end of the Mascara brush is a bit different slightly curved to sort of cup the eye lash roots perhaps. The final results were great as I had hoped they would be. Nice full long look at me lashes. With some of the other L'Oréal mascaras I have noticed flaking bits of mascara fkecks under the eyes. This one doesn't seem to do it but I can't guarantee 100 percent no flaking. This mascara you pay more for but if you get application right some would say you get what you pay for it. I do think a few other mascaras that are slightly cheaper have been able to get me close to the same affect but not quite. I would repurchase on special. I'm not sure of the shelf life on this one. I have had for a few months now but I have not used it often. I can recall as a teenager the white primer in the similar one I had back then going thick and gross where I couldn't use it anymore. I'm weary of fiber lash mascaras in general due to the flaking.
