The product really matches my skin tone and not heavy on the skin. Like this foundation, good coverage and also lasts for a while too.There is a good colour range to pick from and the price is not bad at all.
The product comes in a glass bottle and has a pump, giving you control over the amount disperesed so you're not going to waste any.
This foundation does exactly what it says! It is lightweight to apply with the handy pump action - only one pump required for natural finish or two pumps for a fuller cover. It is buildable so can add a little more to areas of concern. No flaking, caking or patching - the colour and cover lasts all day and into the evening, I had two evening functions this week and my foundation was still intact, even to my forehead, which make up usually slides off this area by lunchtime! The colour stayed true and no make up transfer to jackets or blouses which is an added bonus and quick drying lightweight feel.
Tips: Buildable coverage, start off with one pump and blend and add another pump afterwards to areas of concern.
This foundation started the day great. Applying it to my face it felt silky and smooth. It sat nicely on my skin and gave great coverage without feeling heavy or cakey. I have bright red patches on my face that tend to shine through most foundations, but this didn't happen when I first applied in the morning.
However... by lunch time this had all changed. I looked in the mirror and noticed my face was starting to look really patchy and starting to turn orange. I reapplied, but again it started to look horrible after about 4 hours.
I used this foundation for 4 days with different primers, setting sprays, translucent powders and still ended up with a patchy, dusty looking face by lunch time. I also began noticing a lot more clusters of breakouts since starting to use this foundation, especially around my nose and along my jawline.
Pros: - really nice consistency - no weird chemical smell - great coverage when first applying - 2 pumps did my whole face and neck - non-greasy formula
Cons: - not long lasting AT ALL for me - caused more breakouts than expected - pretty pricey considering the length of time it stayed on my skin looking nice
Tips: A little goes a long way. I got the most wear from this using Rimmel Lasting Finish primer and UD All Nighter setting spray.
I was very impressed with this foundation. I have combination, sensitive skin and this foundation did not irritate my skin - and stayed fresh all day!
It has an extremely lightweight feel and good coverage (win win in my opinion!). I was surprised that by the end of the day my t-zone had not become oily and my face had maintained a natural feel and look. Despite the good coverage provided by the foundation, it did not look or feel "cakey" and I did not need to touch my makeup up after a long work day before going out to dinner which I was very impressed with.
I also liked the design of the bottle and the pump has a design so that a suitable amount comes out everytime.
I would recommend this foundation for people who like to achieve a natural look, with more coverage than BB cream and who have a busy lifestyle.
Tips: I preferred to use a beauty blender rather than a brush to create a 'streak free' look.
I found that a small pump of the foundation went a long way.
This foundation was good, could've been better but I've had worse. It was nice and lightweight and easy to apply but I found it dried a bit too quickly for me which made it a bit difficult to blend out. Would love if there was a bit more coverage. It lasted throughout the day and was easy to remove which is great.
This foundation is absolutely amazing. I have slight red patches on my skin and this covered them without looking cakey at all. And I also managed to test it on being sweat proof, and it definitely is!! It didn't move an inch, even through a bit of sweat. It looks so good on the skin too, and doesn't ever look cakey whatsoever. I will definitely be buying this one again as soon as I've used it up, it's become my go-to foundation!
This foundation is most certainly light weight, but I don't think its full coverage. I applied to half of my face and asked my partner to point out which side had make up (he's usually on point when I do this) but he couldn't tell me. It definitely clung to my dry patches of skin and made it obvious I had applied foundation but overall was a light coverage. I will give it the benefit of withstanding a session at the gym and still looking nice through out the day but don't think I'll be chomping at the bit to purchase it in the future. Great for the days you just want a fresh look. The smell of the product is a little off putting like a heavily scented soap that I've noticed all the infallible range has. So if you're sensitive to smells it might not be for you as the scent lingers for a while.
I was lucky enough to be selected for this trial and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. Firstly, my skin type is dry to combination and also sensitive. The product itself comes in a glass container with a pump at the top, it feels elegant and luxurious. The foundation is a runny liquid consistency. I used my beauty blender to apply the product. First impressions trialing this foundation was that it has a medium to full coverage and is buildable, for those who want a full coverage foundation. It instantly covered my redness and impurities. 2 pumps covered my whole face. It was very easy to blend and left my skin looking youthful and alive. I was honestly shocked. It sets to a matte finish. I also tried this product with a glowing primer to achieve a natural glow finish and it worked well. My foundation lasted the whole day however I noticed midway through the day it had sunken into my fine lines and pores making them more noticeable. On following days I trialed the foundation with a porefilling primer and this fixed the problem. I am very surprised with how much I liked this product. I usually wear a bb cream or tinted moisturizer throughout the day and was pleased that this foundation can be applied lightly to achieve this look, but also can be built up to a medium to full coverage depending on my mood, time or event of the day. I used a light hand of power to set so it wouldn't look cakey and it lasted the whole day. It is so natural on the skin, is the perfect shade for me and by using the appropriate primer, you can achieve the look you desire.
Tips: Start off with one pump as a little bit goes a long way and this product is very buildable without looking cakey. If you struggle with lage pores or fine lines (like me) I reccomend using a pore filling primer on those areas. I also trialed it with a glowing primer and it worked well too for a more natural look. This product also sits well on just moisturizer.
I was lucky enough to get on the trial team for this Freshwear Liquid Foundation in the colour Rose Beige, and I was eager to compare it to the Infallible 24hr Matte Foundation that I have been using.
The liquid foundation is packaged in a 30ml square glass bottle with a pump dispenser and a protective plastic cap. One pump is sufficient to do my face and neck with a medium coverage, while an extra half pump applied to areas that need a little extra cover is enough to provide a full coverage look without being cakey or thick.
I love that this foundation has a built-in SPF25, and the oxygen technology means that it sits on my skin with an extremely lightweight and breathable feel. Once the liquid foundation has been applied to my (naturally oily) skin, it dries to a velvety smooth finish that looks fresh all day. A very light dusting of translucent powder helps to set it place, and helps keep any oil at bay, without settling into fine lines and tiny wrinkles. I wouldn't call this foundation infallible, as a little does rub off during the day if I touch my face, but I do understand that that's due to the fact that I have naturally oily skin. Oil plus foundation always means it's going to rub off at some stage.
To compare the liquid foundation to the infallible matte foundation, the liquid looks and feels much better on my skin. The liquid foundation looks freshly applied well into the afternoon, whereas the matte foundation starts to look oily and shiny after four hours. There is less slip and transfer with the liquid foundation, and it applied much more smoothly and uniformly than the matte foundation (the matte one went patchy and cakey in areas, no matte what type of primer I used).
Overall, I think the Infallible Freshwear Liquid Foundation is a definite winner, especially on oily skin. I'll definitely be repurchasing it.
Tips: Start with one pump and then add a little more to areas that need it. A half pump should do.
What can I say about this!? The coverage was great and the finish was beautiful and skin-like. After a few hours of wear i found it to be a bit slippery (I have oily skin so nothing out of the ordinary for me). Easy fix for that, use a decent primer and it really lives up to its 'no transfer, 24hr' name. I've been hesitant to try a new foundation but this is such an easy everyday wear. I can honestly say I'll be making sure to always have this in my makeup bag. This foundation smells nice and fresh, goes on beautifully, doesn't clog up around the nose, and lasts like a high end foundation. What more could you possible want from a product?
Tips: If you're wanting full coverage right off the bat as opposed to building it up, use a damp beauty blender, it'll be seamless!
