I have always been apprehensive about blush and bronzer. Seeing as I was only learning at the time, I thought $5 was justified for a bronzer to learn the secrets. Firstly I actually really love that the whole selection is $5. It makes it so affordable for people who want to start out or for people on a strict budget. It means everyone has a chance to feel beautiful.
The colour that I have is 'bronze glow'. I am pretty sure it's a pretty generic colour in the brand and am not sure if others are available. I didn't see any others, so this was the one. Mine actually came in a rectangle shaped compact. It has a black base and clear top. The plastic is very cheap looking which is what I would expect. The brush it comes with is very bad quality I feel and malts at the pure touch.
The bronzer itself is a amber/brown colour and is quite nice to the appearance. As for the texture, it is quite chalky and tends to fall out of the brush. I had to in the end toss the brush and use my RT brush. I swiped my brush lightly across, so not to gather too much in one go, I used a youtube video to make sure I had placement correct and tried to blend it in to my skin without it looking too obvious. It doesn't blend very well at all which left big stains of brown on my skin, I looked like I was trying to fake tan and it went haywire!
I used a buffing brush to try and even the tone out. It worked a tad but still had the stain appearance. I tried different brushes, blenders and even a wet brush. All of this was in vain, It always felt like I had a big brown smear on my face. I have since tried other brands and have found them far easier to use and make them look good so I feel it was this lower than low quality product. NO thanks!
