Lime Crime Fantasy Palette
Fantasy Palettes are a flight of fancy... in eyeshadow form.
Each palette features 5 coordinated hues that work flawlessly together.
Cashmere-soft formula is loaded with pigment & offers luxurious payoff and superb blendability.
Palettes arrive encased in a deluxe tin adorned with a unicorn, all wrapped in a gold box.
Available in four colour schemes
-Packaging- : Fantastical adorable purple and gold embossed metallic tins. They are lightweight and the perfect size to chuck in your handbag on nights out. On the back of the tins it lists the colours as well as the important fact that it is a vegan-cruelty free product.
*Aqautaenia* : This palettes shadows have a very nice subtle pearlescent glitter to them and have strong pigmentation especially when you use the lime crime eye shadow primer underneath. I tend to end up using the Pearl-ple and Atlanteal the most, often layered together to create a really pretty mermaid effect. Seahorse Discourse is a great green shade and I find it quite flattering especially when my hair is red. It also looks fab teamed up with Nautilus Prime (a deep purpley blue). Coral of the story is a sweet princess peachy shimmer which I often use as a highlighter above my chosen matching shade.
*Alchemy* : Duochrome! I love the way this Spellbound, a lovely cream off white is fantastic for highlighting under the eyebrows. Lucky Charm is a mossy green with hints of copper (on my skin anyway!), it's vibrant and shimmery and best applied wet for full intensity. Love Potion No.9 is my pick of the palette. Even though it's not as intense pigmentation wise, the shift from purple to green creates a stunning affect. Definitely apply with a primer though! Divination is a smoky teal which again works well combined with other shades from this range. Incantation is extremely coppery orange, if you want a bright popping eye, this is it.
Endurance : I usually only wear eye shadow when i'm going out at night so can't speak for it lasting all day but it certainly lasts all night! I have never had it fade or crease too dramatically. It takes a bit of effort to remove because of it's super pigmentation but it's worth the extra hassle. I find it comes off really easily if I add a tiny bit of moisturiser to my remover.
Overall : LOVE! Personally Aquataenia wins over Alchemy because the colours work better for me (very pale, dark hair, light eyes). Alchemy is close behind but the colours do tend to look a teensy tiny bit "muddy" (which is just one of the perils of duochrome) on my skin. I think they are worth the price and will be buying again when these run out :)
Tips: Most shades look best with a primer underneath. If you want the full boldness I would also apply wet.
