Lime Crime Velvetines

I recently tried the Lime Crime Velvetines matte liquid lipstick and I have to say, it's quickly become one of my favorite lip products! The color payoff is amazing - one swipe and you have a highly pigmented, vibrant shade that lasts all day without fading or smudging.

What I love most about this lipstick is its texture. Despite being a matte formula, it's surprisingly comfortable to wear, thanks to its velvety smooth consistency that glides on easily and doesn't dry out my lips. And once it's on, it stays put for hours without feeling heavy or cakey.

Think it's safe to say this stuff is amazing, long lasting and just a product to die for. I have both reds and the newest one on it's way which I def can't wait to get my hands on.

This is one product that really does what it says it will. These babies go on and stay on! So so long wearing. You can literally go a full day with only one or two very minor touch ups and mostly only to the centre of your lips where food or drink might touch. Wish they had more shades to choose from, I have Red Velvet and Suedeberry and they are both gorgeous. For a matte lipstick, I was surprised at how my lips felt as they didn't dry out as much as other matte lip products can make them do. Definitely would recommend trying these out.

I own red velvet, suedeberry and now pink velvet and if they came in more colours I would buy them too. I live this product it's stunning I get so many compliments when I wear it. It also lasts for ages provided your not eating anything greasy. Highly recommend it and the packaging is so cute too!

It is liquid that turns into magic matte when put on. However, I personally think it dries too quickly. Before, I can even perfectly shape it to my lips' mould. I can't seem to make it look like how I see it in the pictures as well (which made me bought it in the first place) - a full coverage of perfect matte finish. Then again, my lip care is one that could be improved so my often chapped lips probably doesn't help either. Other than this, this would have been a pretty awesome lippy with a color that pop!

It dries quick, takes a bit of getting used to on how it feels on your lips. I watched youtube reviews on this before I purchased and some of the beauty gurus showed that it doesn't wipe off. In my case, there was always a bit of colour rub off BUT there's still a lot of colour left on your lips. Little touch up needed, i did because it was habit but it's unnecessary. Does what it says. dries matte but in my opinion it dries a little too fast, so it's a bit difficult to apply them but once you do OMG my favourite lipstick!! Stays on for quite a while and the colour is so pretty. definitely pigmented

The first time I purchase this was when it first came out. I just had to have it since the opaque lip sticks were already awesome. I have got 3 lovely colours: Red Velvet, Sudeberry, and pink velvetine. After drinking, eating, smoking, duck lipping photos, these babies last for ages, and will only come of after giving them a good wipe down with make up wipes. In my opinion, before buying these lip stick ladies, make sure you are willing to part with $30 because these colours are very very strong and bright. I'll perhaps use these colours once a month.

Absolutely love this color!! Great product if you can afford to either import to buy from a trusted NZ seller. They dry as a matte lipstick so great when your out drinking!!

I HATE applying these things. Red Velvet is VERY unforgiving if you happen to go outside your lip line. You pretty much have to start allover again. It's taken some time for me to get the hang of them. Suede Berry is a bit easier.

Red Velvet is definitely my favourite, i haven't tried the Pink or Black velvets yet. Suede Berry is ok, but i find the colour average. RV is just perfect and would suit any skin tone, in my opinion. It's also blue based so your teeth look super white!

Only con (apart from the dreaded application) is they're quite drying, so moisturise beforehand.
