I brought two shades of these online. I had heard nothing but positive things about them. They have a semi-matte finish to them. Shades i own are: 'Dollhouse Pink' and 'Think Pink' Both shades are super pigmented and last a long time on the lip for a drug store lipstick.
The packaging for these are super simple. With a black twist up base with a clear lid making it easier for see what shade the lipstick is, as the all the packaging for every lipstick is the same.
DOLLHOUSE PINK: This shade is a bright candy pink colour. Super bright and defiantly a statement colour for some. Alot of people would consider this colour a dupe for MAC's 'Saint Germain' though I do think this shade is a little darker than Saint Germain. This colour drys super nicely and gives off a nice semi-matte finish which I love. I tend to keep this one for special occasions or a night out kind of colour. This colour is super beautiful and must have for every make up collection I think.
THINK PINK: This is a lighter pinky orange shade. This lipstick would be one of my most used lipsticks in my collection I love the creamy soft application and how pigmented it looks on the lips. This shade looks really nice in the summer time as its a really bright colour. Can be a bit drying on the lip but using a lip primer before hand for the best results.
I purchased both of these from Beautyjoint. Super affordable and I would say well worth the money. Though the packaging is a bit cheap. Still a great product. I will be defiantly adding more shades from this line to my collection.
I bought two of these lippies online after hearing great things about them and wanting to add some different shades of colour into my lippy collection.
I have this in 'Dollhouse Pink', which is a super bold and bright candy pink, and 'Purty Persimmon' which is a reddy orange shade unlike any I currently have that looks great with a tan.
The packaging is pretty cheap but with such a cheap price point it isn't suprising. I found the plastic lid doesn't stay on that securely so something to watch when you pop it in your bag for touch-ups.
The colours are sooo bold and pigmented and I was really excited when I felt how creamy they applied to my lips. Unfortunately I found these lippies were incredibly unforgiving to any lip imperfections. You really need to ensure your lips are in great condition otherwise they highlight any dry skin, sinking into lip lines and flaking.
In terms of lastability, I do find they last a few hours on your lips although you do get that wearing off of colour in the centre with eating or drinking, so I would suggest reapplying afterwards.
For the price I probably would purchase this in other colours but would only apply them when I was planning on wearing them for a short period of time where I could reapply to keep the colour fresh.
Tips: Make sure your lips are in good condition as these can be drying. Exfolliate first and apply a lip balm, wait for it to sink in, then apply the lip colour for best results.
