After seeing many you tubers use Wet and Wild I knew I had to give this brand a try. This brand can be found mostly online or at Red Bucket Sales. I was lucky to purchase this lipstick from a online market place. I am also interested in trying the Wet and Wild Fergie line as well.
The colour I chose is Cherry Bomb. This lipstick comes in quite an ordinary black casing with a see through cover with the Wet n Wild branding on it. Cherry Bomb to me is a bold dark Vampy Red Wine Colour. I think I was expecting more of a cherry red to it. The texture of this lipstick is Matte and bold. I find it really pigmented. The colour is vibrant. It feels smooth. I was lucky enough to get mine at a discounted price at the time.
When I apply it, the colour is bright enough to apply just a minimal amount to my lips. It did last me a little while before I needed to top up with some more product. I like this vampy colour for night time looks, but every so often I break the rules and wear dark colours during the day.
All up, the packaging of this product might not be high end, but this product is great. I really enjoy how it feels on lips. I like this matte texture. I would definitely like to try some more products from Wet n Wild.
I bought Wet n Wild Bare it All on one of my many quests to find the perfect nude a few years back. I only own one lipstick by the brand but I have been meaning to buy more because I love it.
It comes in less than desirable packaging which is prone to scratches and cracks. I would have thought the brand would have revamped it by now. However what lies inside makes me look after it as if it's YSL - no scratches on my one :-)
The lipstick goes on almost effortlessly; there is slight tugging but once the product is warmed up you'll have no issues. It's one of my favourite shades in my entire lipstick collection - pink based brown nude.
If you're wanting an affordable dupe for MAC Velvet Teddy; this is it. With one layer they look almost identical however with 2 layers you can see that MAC Velvet Teddy is a smidgen darker.
The lipstick lasts 4 hours or more on me because I like to layer then blot quite abit. If you manage to find it in NZ you'd be lucky to pay less than $10 for it. I bought mine from BeautyJoint and still have plans to buy more.
