Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

These are good! I have in the shade pa-ree and it is a great nude shade with a lipliner as it makes it not too nude. I agree with some of the other comments that it can become crumbly and dry after a while. But great staying power and colour. Super affordable also

I loved this product when I first put it on, it applies easy and looks super nice once it sets and you get the velvet look, but after about half an hour it started to crumble and bunch on lips and looked messy. I ended up having to remove it as it just started looking tacky. Loved the colour I got it in though ! Can't remember the specific name of the colour I got but it was a dark red/ maroon

i love the pigmentation of these lip creams , i just find their very drying and when you eat they start to crumble and bunch up on your lips.

I purchased the Velourlips in Ma-li-boo. A hot pink tone that is eye catching and beautiful. I got it specifically for my halloween costume but I had wanted one for a long time, I just wasn't sure which to choose. It glides on so smooth and soft and the applicatir really helps to get a defined lip. As I said I wore it for a halloween party and it stayed perfect the whole night (even if the rest of me didn't). I was pleasantly pleased with its soft berry smell which was not overpowering in any way but just enough to make the experience that much better. I will 100% be going back for more colours as soon as I can, and with that price, why not?

Grandmaster pash. I got this for half price from Love my makeup.NZs mini version of Ulta lol. I've bought a few of these believe it or not I've not tried them I've otter them for swaps to send over seas since so many rave on about these. I'm so glad I got myself one. Well I did a makeup order and got this intending to send it away but since I'm doing an October challenge where I try a new lisptick in my stash each day to find the goodies from the baddies& although I had man to choose from I chose to open this up & I'm hapoy I did. The shade I have has gold fleeks thru it so it looks glittery in the tube which I admit had me concerned. The tube is see thru with flat black branded writing on t with the black lid/handle attached or which is a doe foot applicator. Upon application the cream is smooth,pigmented, non streaking & goes on wet drying matte the gold gives a slight bronze effect rusty brown red & yu can see the reflects when looking closely. I love the bronze burnt brown red shade. Which is in actual fact a mettalic finish The scent is delicious I was kindly suprised by the scent of berries upon opening my tube. The only down fall for me is the stay power although it can last on the outer lips all day the rest of lip wears off as the day goes on so it's not the best with stay power although I didn't use a primer or lupine which didn't mess up application & it didn't feather without either. All in all for the price you pay this product is great. I rate low on the stay power.

Since I was lucky enough to trial the Candylipz lip plumper I have been buying more lipsticks than ever and once upon a time matte lipsticks were the biggest no-no. They made my lips look like little caterpillars, complete with the lines. Matte lipsticks were and are very unforgiving, so I did tread with caution while purchasing this one and didn't get my hopes to high.

I purchased this from lovemymakeup and it arrived the next day, I purchased the colour noo-d fighters, which as the creative name would suggest is a nude colour. A perfect pink-brown, it's part of the metallic addition so it has shimmer through it and I am so in love with it.

The scent! Yes I am obsessed with this scent it took me ages to figure out the scent, it reminded me of my childhood then i suddenly had a light bulb moment.. It smells like grape hubba bubba, the scent lasts for an hour before fading away thank goodness because it makes me hungry.

It is of course matte so I make sure my lips are moisturised a lot before applying it. This comes in a tube with a doe foot applicator and it is so easy to apply. It takes about 3 swipes to get the right depth of colour and then wait as it dries which is only a couple of minutes. Once dried i love it, this pink brown colour with the shimmer is perfect, I was worried it could have had a bit of a frosted look with all the shimmer or a bling blinging disco ball but the balance is perfect.

This lasts 6 hours plus even through eating and drinking it barely budges. It is very drying though even when I do apply a mountain of lip balm first. But the colour and no budging is worth the dryness for me, I love this and want more especially in the metallic range.

This product is amazing. I always get complements when I wear it and have a lot of friends who now wear it too. It is super pigmented and really doesn't budge. The pop of colour from the great range of colours is awesome. Just be sure you have smooth lips first before applying.

OK so. The price is good. The colours are very good. They apply great. They look stunning. But after a few hours, as soon as you move those lips the product flakes off. If your wanting a lip colour that looks great in photoshoots or videos or for an event that's a few hours then this is for you. But if your wanting an all day long lasting lip then you've come to the wrong place.

I own the shades par-ee, shang-hi and bada-pash.

First of all, I love the colour range of the velourlips, with a range of colours from nudes to nice deep shades. They also seem to be constantly expanding on this range.

However, this is where the positives end for me. I am no stranger to applying liquid lipsticks and found that buda-pash applied extremely patchy. Also, I found that shang-hi seemed to emphasize all the fine lines on my lips (I even trialed wearing a lip balm underneath to see if this may help).

I think it is a stretch to say that the velourlips are long-wearing. For liquid lipsticks I usually like them to survive transfer, drinking and eating tests (to a certain extent). I found shang-hi and buda-pash transferred quite badly and faded a bit even with drinking water.

I also do not believe the no caking or flaking claim as the velourlips seem to flake on my lips. I also found them quite drying.

Overall, I think there are better liquid lipsticks out there or even normal matte lipsticks that are more moisturising and long-wearing.

So I purchased the purple one to ki o I think was, was such a beautiful vibrant colour and I loved how bright it was, but applying it wasn't the easiest ( maybe it was just me ) but was quite messy and difficult it had to be perfectly outlined etc, I also found it dried out on my lips and looked very yuck and flaky I had to wash off :(
