Velourlips is life. I apply prior to going out and i don't even have to reapply. ITS GREAT! it's a bit sticky prior to drying, but once dry, its all go. I tend to reapply about ever three hours - to enhance the colour. i was nervous to use these at first, but now i'll never look back.

Reviews
This product have really nice colour and smells really nice but it make my lips dry!!! It stay quite long and kiss proof. I would not recommend it if you have dry lips.
Tips: Make sure your lips are moisturise before use this product.
My friend had sung the praises of this product, she owns them in almost every colour. I was quite disappointed. I like the colour and the matte-ness but I found the the cream made my lips feel dry and cracked.
Wow these are so pigmented! I have them in 4 colours my favourite is Par-ee, its just the perfect nude colour. When using the product have to exfoliate my lips first then put a lip balm on wait for that to absorb then apply the velourlips. The product can be very drying otherwise. It stays on really well and lasted the day. Very affordable and lots of colours to choose from.
i do like the color range but damn after an hour of this on i found my lips were suuuper dry and the center of my lip was so faded i had to reapply and then because of that my lips looked to cakey with color :/
I was lusting over these for months until I finally brought myself some for Christmas, I was so obsessed with the pigmentation and the shades that I brought one each week.
They are heavily pigmented, and you need to exfoliate your lips before applying these because when they dry, you see every imperfection underneath. I like how you don't have to line your lips with lip liner when you wear these which cuts the time in half.
The matte creams are smudge free but you cant wear them for more than 2 hours before they are too drying. If your looking for longer wear I apply a lip gloss over the top which stops the cream from drying as quickly.
I have also noticed that the ones I first purchased have dried out a lot compared to the ones I recently purchased. The formula ends up more like a thick cream that is harder to apply. The only shade that bleeds once it is applied is Doo-bai, the rest of the collection do not bleed.
The new shades that have been released : Buda-pash, Doo-bai and Shang-hai feel like a different formula. They are pigmented but if you touch your lips on anything, some of the colour comes off. The other shades don't transfer on to anything.
This product does not agree with my lip type. I have very dry lips naturally and find this lip cream almost impossible to use. I find it hard to apply to my lips as the product goes on very streaky and uneven. I also find this lip cream to be awfully drying to my lips. When the product dries it has a sort of cracked appearance on my lips.
The good side of this lip cream is that it is extremely pigmented. The staying power is amazing so amazing that I find it almost impossible to remove this product from my lips. This product is still super vibrant and opaque after hours of wearing it, even when you eat and drink this stuff does not budge.
Tips: This is probably an awesome product for someone that does not suffer from dry lips. The staying power really is unbelievable but I prefer the NYX version as it is super smooth and hydrating.
I purchased Velour lips in 'Pa-ree'. I was after a nice everyday nude and this definitely hit the mark. It's highly pigmented and you only need one (maybe two) applications. It goes on like a thick lipgloss but dries up into it's matte finish. You have to make sure your lips are really exfoliated and soft beforehand as it tends to show up any dry patches or cracks really obviously. It has excellent staying power but will need reapplied when eating and drinking.
Tips: MAC's Sublime Culture lip liner is a good match for Par-ee
I've only tried 2 colours, Hon-o-loo-loo and Rio-D (bight, bold, orange!). I found the pigmentation and lasting power of both to be amazing, they lastest all day, with only one touch up needed after lunch.
I find they have a true matte finish, without much tackiness, which I love! I can't feel them on the lip so I can wear it all day without getting annoyed.
Tips: I always use a lip scrub before use and it can show dry patches
This has got to be the BEST lip colour out. Not only is there a HUGE range of different shades, but it gives the best matte look and is very easy to apply. The absolute best point to make about this lipstick though is that is stays on for such a long time. The longest lasting lippy I have tried!
Tips: May need to use makeup remover to remove it- it can take a bit of scrubbing if you don't!
