This is incredibly drying so you probably need to exfoliate and prime lips beforehand. I found that it cracked regardless, but this may be as i have lips that tend to dry over the day. It is easy to apply and dries very quickly, you just have to work fast

What is it?
Highly pigmented lips are the look of the moment, and this lip cream takes it to the next level with its beautiful matte finish! The creamy long-wear formula glides on easily with its doe foot applicator, finishing to a velvety matte look with intense, full coverage colour payoff. Perfect for when you want lasting, matte colour that moves with your lips without flaking.
Time for a change from gloss! It applies creamy, lasts all day and finishes with a soft suede look.A matte lip cream that moves with your lips so you don’t have to worry about caking and flaking.

Tips: exfoliate first!
I had to hunt this baby down. Funnily enough the life pharmacy in my neighborhood had a whole stock of them. (I had been searching in farmers mostly) I purchased the bright red colour as to be honest, none of the others really appealed to me! I was blown away how pigmented these were. I made sure I prepped my lips well. Exfoliated then popped on a nice hydrating lip balm before applying. I wore it to work and received a number of compliments from the lads in the office which was nice! It lasted through my two coffees, morning tea and lunch before I needed a tiny touch up. So I was very very impressed. They are drying though so I doubt this will get much use in the winter when my lips tend to dry out.
Tips: Prep your lips well. Exfoliate and pop a balm on before applying.
I love having my lips as the main feature when it comes to make up so I'm constantly wearing bright pinks and reds. I, like many others, received this free with a magazine I bought around the end of last year. I got a hot pink one called MA-LI-BOO and I absolutely love it. It has such a creamy texture and you don't need to apply a lot otherwise it looks like you've poured the whole container on haha. A little goes a long way when it comes to this matte lip cream. I loooooove this cream and I would definitely get more and recommend to a friend.
The only downside of Australis Velourlips Matte Cream is that because it's a matte colour, it shows all the cracks in your lips and doesn't look nice close up. But this can be avoided by applying lip balm on before using the cream. OR you can put a nude or light pink (depending on the shade of cream you have) and put a layer of it over the top. This should make the cracks leave and you should be left with smooth creamy lips.
Tips: Apply lip balm before putting on if you have cracks in your lips that tend to show through with matte colours.
A little goes a long way, don't over-use.. This could result in rocking the "clown face" look
its very much like the lime crime velvetines except much cheaper, alougth it appears to be very few colors atm they are still great
Tips: dont over apply otherwise your lips will get cakey
Received this free from a magazine a little while ago. Wow they are highly pigmented, thought as I'm mature woman should I wear these but what the heck, its summer and the color I got was Rio-D, I was really after the Mal-I-boo as pinks are more my color, but the orange went well with my tan. It glided on really nicely like a gloss but really creamy then dried to a matte.
Now after about an hour I noticed that the cracks in my lips showed up a bit more than I wanted, I don't have dry lips its an age thing (big sigh) so I put a nude gloss over the top and it seemed to hide the cracks a bit. It did last for hours, almost all day it seemed like. Now when I removed at night I did notice my lips were a bit dry so I just applied a lip balm and they were fine. If I see the pink color on special I will probably go ahead and purchase as it has great lasting power.
I own this in the hot pink shade. It is great for parties as it definately stands out. Pinks are always my got to colour but this one is definitely the brightest I own. The formula is long lasting and doesn't transfer onto anything so would be great going out for dinner and drinks.
I love my Rio-D Velourlips! Its a bright orange that actually looks orange after more than an hour! However, my family tease me a bit when I wear it because it is SO bright, my sister says it looks like chalk. So while I love it, not for everyone I think.
Tips: Super bright so be prepared to stand out!
I have this is Rio-D and wow I am super impressed with the colour! Its super bright and goes on your lips really nicely. The staying power is also really awesome, and I love how once it's on, it doesn't rub off easily (on glasses, when eating etc). I will say that I always find matte products a little bit drying and I need to make sure my lips are moisturised and scrubbed before applying.
Tips: Apply a layer, then wait for it to dry before adding another to make it more opaque.
I have the Velourlips is Ny-cee, which is a very bright scarlet colour that I absolutely love. It's really pigmented and looks exactly like it does in the tube on your lips.
I've heard a lot of people saying that they found it very drying on their lips compared to the Lime Crime Velvetines, but I actually found the opposite! The Velourlips doesn't flake or dry out my lips, and it stays put all day, even with eating or drinking. I love it because it's so hard to find a bright lip colour that doesn't wear off quickly. It's a major mission to get off though! I generally have to use a fair amount of coconut oil to get rid of it.
Another addition to the matte cream lipstick market! I love some of the shades but dislike others as the formula seems to differ a bit between shades. My favourites (for shade and formula) are the purple and bright pink. The orange, in my opinion, is quite unwearable and wouldn't suit many people.
Tips: Definitely only use when your lips are in good, smooth condition. Exfoliate and moisturise before applying. I find a cherry chapstick is the perfect lip balm to use directly before applying. Apply a thin coat only as if you apply too much or continue to layer it up once it has started to dry it will flake
