I went a wee bit crazy with the Lush boxing day sale and this was one of the products I got. Nice Christmas red in colour. Both smells and tastes like cola which is awesome. I've used this weekly and haven't even gotten halfway through the little pot so it should last months. Just dampen your lips, apply and rub in the scrub (gently), then rinse off with some water. Apply a nice lip balm and enjoy your smooth kissable lips.

This product is great for chapped and flaky winter lips. It gently exfoliates them whilst also moisturising them with natural oils. The texture is very fine so your lips don't feel raw afterwards and it smells and tastes like cola. Get your hands on this when you can!
A Christmas twist to the popular Lush lip scrubs is this cola flavoured red lip scrub. Packaged in a convenient and well sized glass pot, the formula is with caster sugar to create the exfoliating effect which it is said can then be licked off lips- I can't say I'm very fond on eating the skin I have just exfoliated off my lips- I much prefer to rinse with water! The scrub is quite dry and crumbly, I just scoop a bit out and rub it over my lips for a few seconds- not too hard as it is quite abrasive. Along with the sugar, there's little heart shapes as well which is cute. The flavour is a subtle, sugary cola flavour which is quite pleasant. My lips are left very smooth and soft afterwards and I notice I have less dry, flakey lips with regular use - ready for the kids to see mummy kissing Santa Claus underneath the Christmas tree!
Tips: Don't over scrub! It's better to do it more regularly and gently, than really rough once a week.
So hard to not burst into a rendition of Santa Baby when using this lip scrub.
I had tried Bubblegum so long ago but only recently re-purchased it along with this festive scrub)... sweet, sweet cola with cute red hearts all through it. I love the scent, just like a fresh crisp drink of cola. This lip scrub is a bit different to me with the confetti through it, and it's a bit dryer than others I have used in the past but it still works well and I love the novelty of it but the wee hearts can be a bit annoying.
This scrubs well and is a bit harsher than the bubblegum one but also gently effective, while leaving my lips feeling smooth without irritation (I have a sensitive top lip due to repetitive cold sore in one place).
Oh and it tastes as good as it smells (don't eat it all though).
After loving the bubblegum lip scrub and getting into the Christmas spirit early this year, I had to exchange trusty bubblegum for Santa.
This comes in a small round glass jar, just enough to unscrew and dig out a small amount with your finger or the handle end of a teaspoon if your like me and hate germs!
This vibrant red coloured scrub is quite hard and very sticky compared to the bubblegum lip scrub, it also has tiny heart shaped confetti mixed through the scrub. The cola scented scrub smells so good you have to resist eating it.
I scrub my lips and licking off the excess, it tastes as good as it smells. Afterwards my lips feel silky smooth with no flakey bits and ready for lip balm. I was worried with the bright red colour of the scrub that it may have stained my lips but luckily it didn't. This is the perfect summer lip scrub to get you in the summery Christmas spirit.
I love this lip scrub, such a beautiful Christmas colour and really works on super dry lips. My lips end up looking nice, red and plump and feeling moisturised. It tastes great too, oops, I know I'm not supposed to eat it, and I don't (well not with a spoon anyway), but when it gets on your lips, you just have to lick it off and its yummy lol. The only downside to this scrub is that like the other scrubs by Lush, they can get a little messy, but other than that, its a great scrub with a great price tag and does what it says it does.
I love Lush lip scrubs. So naturally when I saw this one I thought It'd be worth a try.
The product comes in a 65g glass pottle with a black screw top lid. With the signature Lush label Black with white writing, around the container and a red and white label on the lid.
Upon opening I was delighted with the rose red scrub and dark red hearts imbedded in the scrub. A nice cola smell from a far. An up close smell of it made me gag! It smelt like cola mixed with...parsley?! I couldn't get the smell out of my nose.
I had to give this product a go. It's quite hard, not as soft as the bubblegum one a little bit drier also, which made getting a bit out to scrub my lips with a bit difficult. When I managed to get some out and onto my lips it was a lot softer.
I used this product for a week gagging everytime I opened the lid. However it removed dead and dry skin on my lips leaving them soft and ready for lipstick wear.
If I could change one thing about this scrub It'd
But tastes like coca cola!! I received a full size of this lip scrub in the Lush WOW gift box, and I was quite pleased, I hadn't tried any of Lush's lip scrubs before and I couldn't wait to crack into this one.
It comes in a little glass tub with a twist off lid, and inside is the red sugary goodness. The flavor is cola but let me tell you, it does not smell like cola! Mine smells like... Gross. Really gross. I was hesitant to put it on my lips because of the smell, but the sugar tastes like cola, so I guess that's just it's scent.
The sugar is red, as I mentioned, and filled with red confetti hearts and mine has clumps of white stuff throughout. It was surprisingly dry for a lip scrub but after reading the reviews I think it is supposed to be that dry. This scrub leaves my lips feeling gorgeously smooth and the effect lasts for a few days, which is a bonus. There are no instructions how to remove, so I guess licking it off is okay, though I prefer to use water more. This is a lovely scrub and now that I know how lovely they are I may repurchase in a different scent!
