Lush Silky Underwear Dusting Powder Review

I got this in one of the Lush Christmas gift packs last year. It wasn't something I'd ever looked into purchasing separately but since it came in the pack, I thought I'd give it a try.

This comes packaged in one of the small sized shower gel bottles. It even has the same open cap which to start with, I thought might be too big and make too much powder come out but so far it seems to work fine. I like the name silky underwear, it sounds really sensual and sexy, nothing like baby powder anyway!

I love the scent of this, it has the jasmine but it isn't overly floral. I don't think it's two sweet but it doesn't smell masculine either. It definitely doesn't smell like a 'nana' powder either.

I like to use this on my upper thighs and also under my breasts. It feels so nice and smooth when you first apply it, but it doesn't stay feeling like that all day. I so wish it did though.

I'm not sure if I'd buy it again, I do like it but I don't think it's amazing. It has lasted me a long time though. I've been using it for a couple of months and I'm not halfway done yet. Maybe this would be a nice treat or gift but it's probably not something to go specifically into Lush for.

When my Mum said she had purchased Silky Underwear from Lush for my little ones bottom I thought she was having me on. I had never heard of it before but my Mum was adiment it was a product that could be used to keep my little ones bum dry and protected against nappy rash.

This little beauty comes in a bottle like the shower gels do. I have the 60g bottle. I'm unsure of they do bigger bottles. I would really like too see dusting powder bottles come out with better lids that ate easier to use instead of the one whole where If you shake a little to hard too much product comes out. A talcum powder lid would be perfect.

The dusting powder itself is pearly white and smells like jasmine.

I have been using this on my little ones bottom for a good 3 weeks and it's amazing. My little girl is quite prone to getting nappy rash and a red bum. We haven't had a nappy rash or a red bum since and it keeps her bum dry and smelling great. I couldn't recommend this product enough as a nappy rash barrier and to keep them nice and dry.

I have really sensitive skin that suffers from chafing quite often and a bit of sweating. So in my quest to find the product that leaves my skin dry, smooth and resistant to irritation I found Lush's Silky Underwear.

It is a beautiful product, it does what it says and leaves the skin smooth and silky.

I had one cheeky person ask me if you can put silky underwear in your underwear. I wasn't willing to test the theory myself so I consulted the internet. Apparently you can as it is also good for a baby's bottom, but it would be at your own risk. Bascially you can use this product the same way you use talcum powder only it smells and feels a lot nicer.

To that effect you can also use it in shoes like ballet flats to make them smell fresher.

Basically this product is a luxury talcom powder. For my skin issues it only works when first applied so it isn't that 'it' product that I'm still looking for. But it was lovely to use and for me it had kind of replaced talcum powder in my bathroom cupboard.

This came in a lush gift pack at Christmas time, I had not long just opened the snow fairy dusting powder so this sat around for a while, when I finally opened it I wished I had opened it sooner.

The packaging of this looks like the Lush 100ml shower gel bottle. A clear bottle with a black flip top lid. I was worried that it was all going to come flying out but it seems to work fine.

The white powder smells gorgeous jasmine and ever so slightly floral. Typically floral scents aren't my thing but this is beautiful. It doesn't have any of the shimmer in it like the snow fairy one. I have been using this for between my boobies, I hate sweaty boobies as I tend to get pimples ugh gross yip I know! And this has been working a treat, I've also been putting it in my shoes and the kids shoes as a refresher (sorry boys!) it's also been great on my lil ones after a bath.

This is a great wee product that seems to have several different uses and smells heavenly will repurchase again.

This dusting powder from lush has the most amazing scent to it. Its a very sexy, soothing smell. It applies well to the skin, and i love how the grated cocoa butter in it makes me skin feel so soft. It is a very small bottle but lasts a really long time. Ive been using mine for over a month and have barely made a dent in it. It doesnt spill out all over the place, and is really easy to apply. Lush is a trusted brand and i would highly recommend this product to everyone.

I adore this stuff. It’s just so luxurious feeling and the scent is wonderful! Definitely a wonderful treat after a bath or shower. Especially nice for hot humid days. The bottle last a long time too!
