MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Soft and Gentle Review

This is the only highliggghter I use! I love the sleek packaging and knowing that I am getting value for money when purchasing MAC products. I find that the mineral highlighters glide onto my skin effortlessly and give the right amount of shine it almost looks natural when the light hits my cheeks. The blend of colours in the powder blend perfectly into my natural skin tone! Great product will continue to buy

Oh how I love thee! I'm a fairly recent "highlighter junkie" - I only discovered the power of a quality illuminating product in the last 6 months after watching hundreds of YouTube videos (such a guilty pleasure!)

Previously I had been a strict "matte only" girl. I wanted to look absolutely flawless, think foundation, powder a light dusting on matte bronzer, perfect lips and perfect eyes. Now my look is the same but oh so different!

My love affair with highlighter started with TheBalm Marylou manizer. I had seen it's praises being shouted all over YouTube and I HAD to get my hands on it. But it just wasn't good enough, I wanted something better, something that would make my skin look lit from within, healthy & GLOWING.

Enter Soft & Gentle. I had seen it on YouTube many times but I'd never given it much thought until a friend told me how incredible it was. So off I went to buy it & that was the beginning of my love affair! I have very light skin with pink undertones, I burn easily and can tend to look washed out if I'm not careful. This highlighter powder is the definition of perfection. It's the most amazing colour, it's makes my skin glow, it never looks fake, it brightens up everything about my face, my eyes look brighter, my skin looks luminous and healthy & it stops my makeup from looking flat.

I use it under my eyes, above my cheekbones, in the lower center of my forehead and on my cupids bow. You can build it up or leave it sheer and light and no matter how often you use it the pan stays full. I can't imagine ever running out of this and I can't imagine ever finding anything that even comes close to this amazing product!

this is my go to cheek finish! my mum bought this for me a while back and i love it, its great because you controll the amount of cover you get, its not too dark and it doesnt look over the top. I love the shimmer that it brings, expecially for those days when you feel a bit flat, it brightens everything up. i also use it sometimes on my eyes if im just wearing mascara.

I really love the MAC Mineralise Skin Finish - it's literally one of my favourite setting powders. I love mines. It is the perfect finishing touch to my make-up. It's not overly powdery and doesn't sit on your skin like a layer of obvious foundation. It blends really well and actually blurs your skin to look perfect. It really is signature MAC quality, and yes it is very expensive but very worth it. It lasts a very long time, depending on how much you use and how often you wear makeup.

I have this in my makeup kit, I use this on brides, and clients. All in the name it is soft and gentle gives a nice soft shimmer to the skin. I use it on cheek bones, top of the lips, brow bone and bridge of the nose. I find it suits most skin tones.

I bought this product after so many people raved about it and I have no regrets! I apply it at the top of my cheekbones and it gives me the most natural glow, my first ever highlight product and I don't think I will ever change! Also I have had it for 3 months now and it looks still untouched, so definitely worth the money. And very buildable, can have an everyday glow, or something a bit more dramatic for evening, cannot say enough good things!

This powder has become my makeup staple! I use it everyday, once in the morning, and sometimes later in the day if I am going out for dinner, and I am never disappointed with the coverage. I do use a sponge instead of a brush to apply, as I find it lasts longer and it covers better.

If I'm using a liquid foundation, I use the powder as a highlighter, and just extra coverage (kinda like a setting powder).

I've tried others, from cheaper brands to more expensive ones, and 8 years later I am still using MAC.

I absolutely love soft and gentle, its a lovely shimmery highlighter, that can be built up for more of a night time shimmer, or just a wee dusting to add a glow for an every day look, its a gorgeous light bronzey shade, and a little goes a long way. Definitely one of my favourite makeup items!

This is a fantastic product which I would recommend to my friends. I use this every day as it provides great coverage but can be applied lightly for a more natural daytime look. Mac has a wide range of shades which suit anny complexion. This mineral powder is great for covering blemishes, especially when used alongside Mac concealers.

I purchased one of these for the first time a few weeks ago. This was not high on my list of things to purchase, however I had a voucher to spend and was needing a decent highlighter at some stage, so I took the plunge and got it. I was not disappointed! As far as highlighters go, this one is so nice and natural and relatively glitter free, which is something I find hard to come by with powder highlighters. Love, love, love.
