MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Soft and Gentle Review

Don't get me wrong I love this highlighter. But it isn't my everyday one. The MAC mineralize products are some of my favourite products (especially the mineralise skin finish natural). I find this highlighter to be very glittery which isn't what I want for an everyday look. But is great for a going out highlighter for me. I also find in the daylight that it can emphasise my pores a wee bit. This is a product I would advise swatching it a counter before buying.

This MAC skinfinish is the perfect product to add some definition to the cheek bones, and an all over shimmer. Applying on the top of the cheek bones adds more definition to the upper cheek bone, giving your face a more structured look, and also a shimmery finish when caught in the light. Highly recommend.

This is my all time favorite highlighter. I am very fair and I can find it quite hard to match bronzers and highlighters with my skin tone, but this one really dose work wonders. Not only on fair and pale, but all skin types. As the name says it dose look soft and gentle and it is very easy wear, This is a day time and night time highlighter and will not over kill any look. A must for any Mac lover.

This is a must have with light gold reflective shimmer, if you have ever seen some with perfectly sculpted cheekbones and then they turn in the light and notice the shimmer its this and you need to get your hands on it too. Lasts forever, well worth buying.

This is my holy grail highlight, a very soft tone with gold reflects in it. Easily glides on with a brush and doesn't look cakey. This is a really nice highlight for all skim tones, I'm quite pale and it looks better on my than other highlights like mac by candlelight. It is expensive, but at the same time it lasts for ages, I've had mine for more than a year and haven't seen pan yet.

I absolutely live this product and it definitely does what it says it does- it creates a nice flawless highlight to my cheekbones :) It applies smoothly and easily. Creates a subtle sheen- and is easily build able

MAC is well known for having amazing Meneralised Skin Finishes and I'd say that this is by far my favourite. Its a perfect highlight and suits pretty much every skin tone.

Its a pink-champagne shade with a subtle shimmer that reflects light perfectly off of your cheekbones. Texture-wise: it has that textbook mineralised feel, slightly rough in the pan but soft on the skin.

I actually use my fingers to apply this as i find brushes are too sheer and I really need the oil on my fingers to pat it on into the pigment I like but certainly brushes work well too. I also find that using my finger prevents fall out.

I definitely prefer my Soft and Gentle over my Benefit HighBeam and it looks like it will last forever.

A 'Must-Buy' for anyone who is just getting into highlighting as its such an easy powder to use and the colour is so universal.

I found this powder to be quite average. I prefer a more thick look (is that the right word?) would be good for people with clear skin though!

OMG!! I'm all about highlighting the cheek bones, this product is amazing!! Such a pretty metallic finish.

I absolutely love this product, it is a really versatile highlighter to have around. It is great for the dewy skin look, and is able to be built up or left subtle. It (like most MAC in NZ) is quite pricey, but it does last a long time even if you are using it every day. Definitely a staple for me.
