MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Soft and Gentle Review

I found this powder to be quite average. I prefer a more thick look (is that the right word?) would be good for people with clear skin though!

I absolutely love this product, it is a really versatile highlighter to have around. It is great for the dewy skin look, and is able to be built up or left subtle. It (like most MAC in NZ) is quite pricey, but it does last a long time even if you are using it every day. Definitely a staple for me.

I have been looking for this beauty for a long time, it's hard to come by and I now know why! It is the perfect highlighter that would make any bride radiate on her special day, take average to fabulous in a matter of seconds with a few strokes to the highest point of your cheeks, cupid's bow and the bridge of your nose. It is amazing! It is my most prized highlighter in my kit. It only comes out when I want to look Shaaamaazing!

After reading the reviews on here I finally decided i had to have this in my life.. And I'm so glad I did! This is a beautiful product, it gives such a gentle glow and leaves your skin with a golden yet subtle shine. I wore this to work for the first time and I had so many compliments on my skin!! I am the queen of dark circles under my eyes - thanks to my daughter- and this just brightens up my whole look and makes me look more awake.

After hearing all the hype I finally bought soft and gentle and I'm so glad I did! I prefer it to my The Balm, Mary-Lou Manizer because it is more of a (very subtle) golden finish rather than glittery and a lot more build able. I use it as a highlight, eyeshadow and brow bone highlight. It has such a beautiful shimmery finish and not much product is needed to create a fresh look.

I was so skeptical about buying this because of the crazy price tag. But it's honestly so worth it, you only need a little bit and it looks amazing. It's a beautiful, slightly bronze highlight, I was worried that it would be too crazy on my pale skin but it looks great and I'm looking forward to summer so I can pile more of it on. I also use this as a highlight in my inner corners of my eyes and on my cupids bow. I have yet to find the perfect brush to use this with, until then I just use my fingers. I'm not that much of a fan of the new packaging because it's so much harder to open since its magnetic. But I do think that it looks a lot nicer.

I truly love this product and it is one of my go to highlighters.

Firstly the packaging is nice, fairly simple but effective. The product is baked onto a pan and it really does last forever!

The powder itself is a beautiful rose gold colour and looks perfect on the cheek bones, above the lip or under eye brow. Best to apply with a small brush or I guess you could use your fingers as well (but blend well).

So I came across this by accident. BEST accident I've ever had. I was skeptical it would suit my colour tone being a rosey gold colour and me being olive. I thought it'd be too pinky toned for me but it suited me well. Like all Mac products it's something that's going to last me a while.

I love the lightness of this highlighter on my skin. Definitely something I'd recommend and buy again.

This is my number one, never let me down product, I cant even explain my joy with this amazing getup.

I have other highlighters - cream -powders and I do use them However i will always use this over the top to finish, It comes out really nice in photos if you wanting that shimmer , I also use this for eyeshadow over the top of a natural - or going out look, or to put in my eye pocket to bring out my eyes,

Its really pretty and shimmery I do think you can use this with any skin type as it can blend quite well

I do love the old MAC soft and gentle packaging, as the glass bit can pop off sometimes but it still looks pretty, and it will always be my go to product with out a doubt.

MAC mineralise powder for me is the best thing I have every come across. I have stopped using a foundation and just use this solely, great coverage, stays on all day. Love it.
