This is the foundation I use on a regular basis. It has great coverage but doesn't feel too heavy. It stays on well which I love and really evens out my skintone to hide the few scars and bumps. I'm a stickler for an even, well-cover but natural base and MAC Studio Fix is always my go-to. Love it!

Tips: Use with a Mac Primer underneath and Mac Mineralize dusted on top for beautiful skin :)
I have just started using this foundation and so far I really love it. It is quite pricey, but worth is as you only need to use a little bit each time. It covers really well and I find that I do not need to use much concealer over my pimples. Does make my skin a wee bit shiny after wearing it til half way through the day, but I just touch up with powder and I am good to go again. It is very long lasting on the face.
I love this foundation I find for my skin type it goes on nice and easy and through out the day I don't get dry patches. It is reasonably priced aswell which is a plus.
I've always used just powder foundation and tried different liquid bases, but lately decided I wanted to be more serious about getting into using a liquid foundation. The MAC Studio Fix was the best one that I found, it goes on so easily and does not feel heavy at all on my face (which is something I am very serious about), I don't like to feel as if I have a thick layer of creamy stuff caked on, and I did not feel that at all with Studio Fix. I do only use it when I'm going out, and not for my day to day look, but it definitely is one of my favourite makeup products.
Tips: For some serious coverage, and super makeup for photo's, I found using the liquid and then my powder foundation over the top gives a great made up look.
I have oily, acne-prone skin and to top it all off, hyperhidrosis so I have a hard time finding long-lasting foundations that don't sweat off or break me out. I first bought MAC Studio Fix Fluid when I was living in Queensland and desperately trying to find a liquid foundation that would stand up to the humidity there. Studio Fix beyond met my expectations of a foundation.
I applied using a foundation brush after priming, essential with this foundation if you have oily skin. It gives really even coverage, covering blemishes and redness with ease. It was able to build to very full coverage, allowing you to choose between wearing medium-full coverage depending on how much you apply. I then set with powder, and found that with this in place it really does last all day, with only a couple powder touch-ups during the day.
I did find it was a bit harder to blend this around my eyebrows which ended up looking slightly orange-tinged after applying, but this was easily fixed by applying eyebrow pencil and gel as I normally would anyway.
I really would recommend giving this a try if you're after a long-wearing foundation with flawless coverage that won't melt off.
Tips: MAC has so many different shades available, so it's easier to find your match. If your MAC foundation shade isn't quite right e.g. you're going from summer to winter, but the shade down doesn't match yet, ask for a sample of it at the MAC counter and then blend this into your foundation. I find this is a great and easy way to transition your liquid foundation from one season to the next without having to buy a new foundation straight away which may be a shade off anyway.
This is now my go to foundation. It has great coverage and I barely need any corrective concealer underneath, I have very red cheeks so need a small amount of concealer. Most foundations leave me with breakouts but I haven't had one since using this foundation. It gives you a great even base to work with.
Tips: You will need to use a blush with this to prevent looking washed out. This foundation doesn't come with a pump but one can be bought separately, I highly recommend buying one so that you don't tip to much product out each time you use it.
This has been my holy grail foundation for the last year. It's been difficult for me to find a product that will stay on my oily face all day without looking cakey, wearing off or not having enough coverage. Studio Fix is buildable, and buffed in properly looks like a second layer of skin. The large range of shades means you can find one that suits you to a T, I've applied it at 7am before work and gone out afterwards only to have flawless skin when I get home around 12pm. I truly think it's worth every dime and lasts far longer than I had expected.
Tips: Go to a MAC store and have yourself matched, preferably in the morning so you can wear it all day to find how it wears on your skin and whether the colour suits you in both natural and artificial lighting.
I finally gound a foundation to match my skin tone. Nw10. I loooove this foundation so much I want to buy a few back up bottles haha. It is a very thick foundation however and a little goes a very long way! I would love to get the studio fix powder too!
Tips: I found that I couldn't just go straight in my my sedona lace flat top brush - the finish looked terrible and cakey. So I tried laying it down with a flat foundation brush and then using a stippling brush and if needed then go in and buff it out with the flat top :3
This foundation is fantastic; it gives a great full coverage with a really nice finish. It’s not matte, or really dewy, it’s in the middle and sets nicely. It’s the foundation I use when I want to look flawless; so it’s my go-to for special events etc. It can be quite heavy though, so if you’re going for a natural finish then it probably isn't for you.
I have wanted to try this foundation for a long time, as I had heard great things, but as I live in a small town we don't have a local MAC counter. As I was in Hamilton I decided to get colour matched at the MAC counter in Farmers. Wow!! All the hype is true! This product is a medium coverage which can be buildable. It is hydrating for my dry patches and it doesn't cling to these areas. It doesn't feel heavy or look cakey which I absolutely love and look for in a foundation. I do find the scent is quite a chemical one, but I don't notice it when wearing. I recommend this foundation for all the dry skin beauties out there!
Tips: Make sure you work it in quickly as it can set if left in a blob on your face.
