This is a nice foundation but wasn't for me. I have quite dry skin and found that this made it dryer. It didn't quite move across my face well when I was blending it in. Like I say nice foundation but probably wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin like myself

The best foundation I have ever used, well worth the price and perfect for a night out. Has great cover and a wonderful finish. A bit heavy for everyday use but I don't wear a lot of make up. A+++
Tips: Don't need to use a lot as a little goes a long way!
I love this product, It's not too runny and not to thick. I find it provides perfect coverage for my pigmentation and stays on all day. It comes off really easy to.
I really like this product, I was unfortunately matched incorrectly so the shade I was given is too orange for my skin tone but I still wear it when going to town/nights out. It's perfect for long wear and I find it lasts all night with minimal touch ups and sometimes no touch ups are required. I think if you have a really good foundation brush it goes on so smoothly and evenly and is an over all nice product to use.
Tips: I pair this with the napoleon auto pilot underneath with the Rimmel Stay matte powder on top for a flawless long lasting finish every time!! There is an Orange real techniques brush I use to apply this foundation and its amazing, but I cant remember what name it says on the brush, might be a powder brush but it applies this foundation so well!!
I found this had fantastic coverage, lasted well, and retained a 'matte' look (often I can end up looking a bit shiny after a few hours). The only down sides are the smell and the cost, though not a big issue considering how much I liked it!
When I first started to buy MAC products, this was one of the first recommended to me to buy. I have mixed feelings on this foundation. Given I have normal to oily and sometimes normal to dry skin I'm not sure this was the best match for my skin type. The coverage I find to be medium to build-able which is what I look for in foundation, I did find however it wore off quite a bit throughout my t-zone during the day which is my oiliest area. I also found sometimes my skin going dry in my t-zone area from this foundation which I found difficult to understand. For me and my skin type it is okay but It was a holy grail foundation for me
Tips: Check with a MAC counter about your skin type and which foundation would best suit your skin type. Also if you are getting colour matched at MAC, ask to step into normal lighting to see if the colour is right, as I walked out buying a foundation 2 shades too dark which didn't seem that way under artificial lighting!
Love love love this product!! Cannot recommend it enough! I wear the NC25 shade and just adore it. It has really good coverage and can be built up so easily. I'v never had something match my skin colour so perfectly and go on so well. Certainly looking for a cheaper alternative though but still worth the money.
Tips: Get the girls at MAC to match your colour to your face because thats what they're there for and boy they do a great job!
I tried this foundation in NC15 which is normally great for me in MAC foundation however Studio fix was too dark at first and then oxidised even darker. Smell of foundation is a big factor for me and this one smells like paint. If you are going to have photos taken I would not recommend wearing this as it gives a flashback. This does provide great coverage and long wear though. I would consider using it again if the smell was toned down and MAC fixed the shades or perhaps brought out an NC10. I would recommend to a friend if they were able to find a shade that was correct.
Tips: I found this oxidised. If you're looking to purchase, wear for a couple of hours and assess if the colour is still right.
Mac Studio Fix Foundation Fluid provides matte finish that is a buildable medium coverage. I find this foundation is easy to blend and is long wearing. As I suffer from oily skin, a long wearing foundation that doesn't slide off my face is a must have for me. The only thing that it does have a faint paint smell. It doesn't bother me but some people might not like it. I have repurchased this product time and time again. It also has a SPF 15 protection which is great all year around. I would recommend the purchase of this product as it is a holy grail product of mine. The $60 investment is truly worthwhile.
Tips: I would recommend using a buffing brush for a flawless application,
I tried this foundation out for a couple of months but found with my dry skin, it wasn't a great foundation for me. I felt like you could see the foundation obviously even when well blended. Gave it to my friend and it looked great on her skin, so if you don't have dry skin, give it a try!
