This product is hands down one of the best foundations out! Its now dewy, but not matte either, it just gives me skin a nice sheen (or can be matte if you apply a matte powder overtop). The colour range is what first temped me to try this product. I am the palest of the pale, so I am the shade NW10. It is usually very hard for me to find products light enough for me, but this was perfect. They have such a wide range of shades with both pink and yellow undertones. Although this foundation is on the pricier side, I believe it is totally worth it because you don't need to use much at all, my whole bottle lasted me over a year! Can be built up from light to full coverage easily! LOVE THIS!!!

Tips: Best applied with a flat top foundation brush (I use the one from Shannon Harris's website - XOBEAUTY)
I have been using studio fix foundation for the past couple of years and it has never let me down. I cannot fuss enough over how amazing this product is! I have always had trouble with blemishes and pimples and trying to find a foundation to cover these imperfections had always been hard! But then I came across studio fix and thought I would give it a try. I was so happy with the results, it is a medium coverage but buildable. It hides my blemishes/pimples well and goes on so nicely, there are no uneven patches and it doesn't crease on the skin. It just looks absolutely flawless and I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who have problem skin and need a foundation to cover up their blemishes
I have always had very clear skin which I would put down to a healthy diet more than a skin care routine. However, after having the nexplanon implant inserted I began breaking out across my forehead and on both sides of my cheeks. This "facial explosion" had a serious knock on my confidence because the acne was leaving brown spots after healing. From using a BB cream religiously, I decided I needed a foundation which would cover the dark spots. After rave reviews from friends I decided to go for MAC Studio Fix foundation. I found that this foundation was too yellow for me even after being skin matched. I also found that this foundation was cluster in areas like the sides of my nose and after a few hours I would also begin to see huge pores. This foundation did not fulfil the aim I hoped for but rather masked my face in yellow. It was very cakey and made me feel like a clown to some extent because i prefer very natural makeup. I have found that the Giorgio Armani foundation does exactly what I want it to and it provides a skin like finish without a cakey mask.
Tips: To tone down the yellow, I began highlighting and contouring. The Anastasia Beverly Hills palette was amazing for this and for highlight I used YSL touché éclat.
I am a first time user of this brand of cosmetics, I have used the strobe cream but first foundation use. I purchased this at the beauty expo in Auckland 2015. I bought it because it was cheaper than getting online and i could get colour matched. I was matched with NW18 which i still think may be slightly too dark. To be honest I dont wear this everyday as my $25 kmart foundation does just the same job as this one. Everyone raved about it, but im just like meh it still wears off on my chin and nose after a whole days wearing. it is quite buildable and you can away with not wearing concealer, but use too much and you have cake face going on. I would perhaps like to try some other MAC foundations.
Tips: Not any better than my go to kmart bought foundation. So be weary paying big $$when there are better cheaper alternatives out there.
This foundation has never really hit the mark for me. The shades are never consistent and it looks way too full coverage on my dry/normal skin tone. I have just stopped repurchasing it and moved on to other mac foundations. This foundation is definitely not for everyone
Tips: Use a stippling brush if you dont want a heavy coverage
My skin type is combination and this just doesn't work for me. The colour is nice and coverage is full however I find it cakey on my nose and goes oily on my forehead. For what you pay for it I expected much better. I prefer face and body even though the coverage is sheer as its buildable without being at all cakey looking. The only pro to this foundation is you don't need concealer.
I was given, yes given this the other day, wasn't their colour, is mine, who's winning!.. MAC is.
I'm telling you now, this stuff stays on all day. I'm used to using Avon and moisture mist which I thought was my go to but the studio fix foundation has won over and over again.
It blends nicely, covers up my dark circles, doesn't look Cakey but I do have one con about this.. it's shiny, it looks shiny on your skin so a matte translucent powder is needed if you don't want to be shiny all day.
It's my new fave!
Tips: Of you don't want a shiny face all day then use a matte translucent powder.
I was abit hesitant to try this but it's a staple in my make up bag now! Great matte complete coverage :) a lot really goes along way! I use this for nights out l.
I have been using the same studio fix for 8 years + and I love the how using a small amount of the foundation can go a long way! If you do need it to last throughout the entire day use a basic primer and it hides away everything.
Tips: Suggest buying the pump, I didn't buy it till a bit later on and always ended up wasting a lot of it but a small pump should cover more than many layers of other foundation.
I have no clue why I didn't get onto MAC years ago!!!
I have spend years searching for the perfect drug store foundation, spent waaaay too much money on products to just discard them... This was there all along! I could have saved myself so much time and money if I'd just spent a little more in the beginning!
And to be honest.. $60 is not too bad really!
I have been using this for a month now & I am in love!
The liquid glides on easily with no streaking when I use my paddle brush. It's a relatively thick formula but a little goes a long way.
It dries fairly quickly so building up in areas that need more coverage is no issue & I like how I don't have to wait a few minutes to blend..
It stays so well! I don't have it rubbing off on my clothes or my fingers if I touch my face. It lasts all day too. After 10 hours of wear, it barely needs any touch ups! Especially when I have MAC's Prep & Prime underneath.
I absolutely adore this foundation, it will likely be the only one I use from now on... and with so many shades available, there's a match for every season!
My only complaint would be the bottle has a narrow neck & doesn't come with a pump - so I have no idea how I'm going to get the last bits out when that time comes.
