I love and hate this product. You get a great coverage and it photographs really well which is why it is a must have in my professional makeup kit. However, I find it clogs up my skin and makes me break out if I wear it everyday, which is why I switch it up. It blends perfectly, so is great if you are into cream contouring as it makes you look more natural. It doesn't streak or cake or feel heavy to wear. It also stays put and builds easily.

Tips: I personally wouldn't use as an everyday foundation as to much wear causes me to break out. But for a night out or photography I love this product.
This product is easy to apply and you do not need much of it. But sometimes it feels quite thick on the skin and can get a gluggy-feeling. The bottle lasts a long time as only a little bit covers a lot of skin. It is quite pricey compared to other products.
Tips: Do not use too much at a time, otherwise will feel and look thick on your skin.
I've tried a few MAC foundations and thought I should give the one every second person seems to have a whirl. Unfortunately this is not quite the one for me. It goes on smooth and the finish is nice and dewy but I find the colour (I'm NC42 for reference) to be a touch too yellow which can make it look like I've painted my face (in a less than flattering way). I also find it you're not careful the coverage can appear a bit too heavy so you definitely need a lighter hand to apply this one. Will be sticking to my MAC studio sculpt in future.
Tips: Can be difficult to get out of the bottle - I like to cover the opening with my finger and tip the whole thing upside down so I only get a controlled amount out at a time.
I have struggled to find a foundation that last's and give's good coverage. After getting my skin matched with the studio fix at MAC(NC15) I am very please with this product. It really lasts and gives a nice even coverage. The foundation is creamy with a matte finish and I find it glides on nicely on my skin.
I love this foundation, I always go back to it after trying new brands. I have two colours so I can adjust for summer and winter. It spreads easily and gives a good coverage
I have just recently purchased this product and I am in love.
After being very wrongly matched in Australia I managed to exchange and be properly matched back in New Zealand. From NW20 to Nw10
As I am quite pale I always find it hard to get a foundation that is the same as my natural skin colour. NW10 is my perfect shade and I am absolutely loving every minute of it. The application is easy and a little bit goes along way. It blends in very well with my skin and stays looking good for hours!
I find the coverage to be a great medium coverage and doesn't feel like I have a lot of product on my face which I love.
Its also amazing as contains some SPF
Tips: I find it best applies if you put it directly on your face with your hands first then use a brush or sponge because of the consistency otherwise you will lose some of the product by being soaked up into the sponge/bristles.
This is one of the most raved about Mac products. As I headed into the store, I went in wanting to be as in love with this product as everyone else. A Mac lady kindly did a sample on my face and with all the lights she said it matched perfectly, to me it seemed to look quite orange but I decided that she was a professional and must be right. I bought the shade NC35 and got home and tried it the next day and alas it was orange on my skin. I knew then and there I should have trusted my own instinct and not purchased it. As I'd already spent $60 on it, I thought I would still keep it and use a lighter powder to lessen the orange look. Unfortunately the next day I started to break out from the product so it was a waste of $60. Next time I'll get a tester, as it was an expensive mistake to make.
Tips: Trust your own instinct when it comes to color matching, some sales assistants just want a sale unfortunately.
This is my holy grail foundation. My skin's combination to oily type, at the end of a day I'll always have "Disco ball" face. Not with this foundation though! Worn it to my gradtion the whole day in Summer, didn't have to suck oil on my face off with a tissue at all. It goes on smoothly with a brush, however I don't find it very blendable, but the finishing is awesomely matte. I recommend this foundation to all the oily friends of mine!
Tips: I found it goes on smoother with a brush, stippling brush to be exact, than with fingers.
I used this because I feel like everyone needs to try a MAC foundation at some point... I wanted to love it but to be honest it wore off during the day and didn't leave much coverage. I loved it at first but by the end of the day not so much! It would be great for girls who have good skin or like light-medium coverage :)
This foundation is worth the hype. I've experimented with a number of cheaper versions but none provide the same coverage, and colour match as MAC itself. I have very fair skin and wear NW-13, the perfect match for me. I'd never go back to a cheaper brand again. Unlike the cheap versions, this MAC foundation doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores like they do. Buy it and enjoy it!
Tips: I love applying this with my Beauty Blender or Sigma stippling brush!
