Makeup Geek shadows are really really lovely. The website is easy to navigate and the shadows have very clear swatch photos, including comparisons with other shades in the same family. There's also lots of reviews on Temptalia, so it's easy to get an accurate idea of the true colours of each shade.
The shadows are lovely, soft, non-powdery and blend easily.
Each shadow is about USD6 and shipping for about 15 shadows was USD8. I placed two orders and each one took less than a week to arrive.
Makeup Geek are a huge name in the beauty world, and they are well-known for their eyeshadows with people even saying these are the best eyeshadows available. Its a big claim to make, but this eyeshadows must be popular for a reason right?
I only recently purchased my MUG eyeshadows when the website was having a free shipping promo. However, i will mention right off the bat that i think these eye shadows are an investment as opposed to a quick buy, because although these pans are only $6 usd, when you get a couple, it adds up quick.
Like i said, these eye shadows are sold in individual pans although you can buy pre-made kits up as well. The pans are quite big in my opinion, and they are designed well simply because they are magnetic, so stick securely in a z-palette and each pan has the colour name printed on the bottom, so there is no confusion about which colour is which. It might sound silly, but when you 4 neutral matte brows, its easy to get mixed up.
Now to the eyeshadows themselves. Well, they are kind of amazing. The are silky smooth, and so pigemented. They blend easily and have some serious staying power, even without primer. They are not dusty at all, and there isn't much mess when using them which i can't say about other eye shadow palette (cough cough Lorac).
Yeah these are amazing, go and buy them now!
