I don't like this curler much at all. I curl my eyelashes every time I apply mascara as I unfortunately didn't get blessed with beautiful curly ones, and out of all of the curlers I've tried this Manicare is the worst. I mean I'd use it if I had nothing else (gasp!) but it definitely wouldn't be my first choice..or second..or third..or ..ok you get it!

Tips: The trick is to look for eyelash curlers that have a spring mechanism. They tend to squeeze the lashes a lot harder resulting with a tighter curl that lasts.
Naturally I have incredibly straight lashes, it's only been after using lash serum for a period of time they have now achieved a slight wave yay. Although in the past I have completely neglected my Manicare Eyelash Curler as a result of it really not doing much for me, I had hoped with my newly-improved lashes I could finally put it to good use.
The Manicare curler is very basic in design, a straightforward metal eyelash curler with a removable rubber pad, that you apply close to your lashes and squeeze for about 30 seconds. Sounds simple enough right? Unfortunately almost every time I attempt to use it, I find myself pinching my delicate eye skin! I find the shape difficult to get close to my lashline without pinching my skin. Perhaps it's just the shape of my eyes, but I end up often holding it just slightly further down the lash. Either way my lashes never seem to achieve a nice, open curl, despite holding it for a minimum of 30 seconds. Sometimes I get a wonky, kinked lash look which is amplified by mascara, other times a slight wave which just wasn't worth the pain.
If someone more patient with naturally more wavy lashes wanted an affordable curler I may recommend it if nothing in a similar price range around, but I've now regulated mine firmly to the depths of my bathroom cupboard.
Tips: Be careful how you hold it as to not clamp down sensitive skin.
I use this daily, with or without mascara afterwards. I thinks it does a great job. Sometimes it misses my outer lashes but i think that is just me being an egg. It curls well and lasts.
I have naturally straight lashes so I'm always looking for a way to plump these babies up and this was my first experience with an eyelash curler. Appearance wise this is a nice looking curler, simple design nothing that requires a degree to operate, put on lashes , clamp hold for 30 seconds that's it :)
For some reason I really struggled to get this positioned where I wanted I always seemed to pinch my skin or I couldn't quite get it close enough to my eyelash line - perhaps its just me and I didn't really know what I was doing but I didn't find these really worked for my eyes for some reason.
They did definitely provide my lashes with a bit of curl and did make a difference to my mascara routine and the finished look.
Overall all it did do an ok job but it just didn't work that well for me in terms of use.
I have a pair if these and they are awesome a couple of pumps and your lashes are curly. But you have to be very careful at the same time if the curler is positioned wrong it could hurt your eyes and eyelashes. I happened to have done this once and I wasn't be careful and paying attention and i bumped my arm and trimmed a few lashes or could say the curler ripped them out haha I still use them though I just be extra careful.
it great but just wasnt for my eye shape and if you want to make it last longer heat it up with a blow dryer and you should do this before mascara
Tips: heat it up with a blow dryer and when buying buy for your eye shape
These eyelash curlers do exactly what they say they do. I’ve had the expensive ones before and there’s no difference in the quality. Great product, will continue to buy them.
Tips: Replace the rubber along the bottom often so you don’t chop your eye lashes off!
I have owned a manicare lash curler for as long as I can remember!!! In all the years of using it I have only had to replace the little runners every now and then to keep the curl looking fabulous. They have a good thickness and grab all your lashes at once. Never had any issues with the manicare range in general in terms of tools etc. Totally recommend this product!
Tips: Crimp lightly a few time’s moving from the base to the mid lash area
I own a few eyelash curlers and don't find them to be much different. They all do the same thing and make my lashes look ten times better.
These ones are very simple and easy to use. They're affordable, and I like that the packaging comes with easy to follow instructions. I think that makes them a good option to buy if you were looking for your first pair of eyelash curlers. Even though they are affordable, they are very sturdy. I've owned my pair of these for a long time now and use them regularly. They still work just as well as the first day I bought them.
This was one of the first eyelash curlers I ever brought and it does the job well enough but I have since found a curler I like even better but this is still a great standard go to curler. Curling your lashes makes such a difference and I find it really opens up the eyes and makes me look a lot more awake (which is always good).
I found this curled my lashes nicely but I couldn't quite get it close enough to my lash line as it didn't perfectly fit my eye shape. For the price though this is a great little tool which I think everyone should have in there makeup bag.
Tips: When using mascara on curled lashes take your time and keep eyelids down until the mascara has dried as when curled the lashes touch the eyelid when open and make a huge mess. Also if you want a stronger longer lasting curl run your curler under a warm tap to heat it before use :)
