Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads Review

I recieved this in my I love nails box. I've never tried these kind of nail wipes before. I have seen other brands selling similar kinds of wipes to these but never got the opportunity to try them out.

These wipes came in a fully sealeable container. This container is easy to open and close. Im so glad they weren't in a packet. This wipe is circular and thin. At first I took a big pile but realised that each wipe is paper thin. These wipes feel soft and smooth. Theres an oily consistency in this wipe . They smell like sweet coconut. It smells gentle.

With one wipe I can manage to remove nail polish on both my hands. These remove nail polish so easily. Im surprised that my nails haven't dried out. Instead this oily texture in this wipe has made my nails feel hydrated and smooth. It felt like my nails were being treated. I've never enjoyed removing my nail polish until now. It's a game changer for me.

After using these nail wipes I would happily buy these again. I believe its affordable. Its compact enough to take travelling. Theres no mess or additional products needed to use this. If only traditional nail polish liquid was like this. Overall a great product to have.

"Ewww that stuff stinks, can you at least do that outside?" Are the words that normally leave my husbands mouth when it's time to pull out the nail polish remover. Not with Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads. Specifically the Limited Edition Floral Scented pads. They smell very moreish, delicate and not at all chemically. I'll start from the outside and work my way in. The packaging is stunning and incredibly convenient. The compact size and screw top seal makes them perfect for your handbag or the car without the worry of them leaking everywhere. The light fragrance is a pleasant surprise in comparison to other nail polish removers which hit the nostrils no less than a bottle of pure methylated spirits! The manicare pads are delicately scented, so nicely I would go as far to say I intentionally kept smelling them. Thin but mighty! The pads are very thin, but super resilient. I really put them to the test and removed five layers of polish, two of which were glitter, and we all know how much of a challenge glitter polish is to remove. Am I right ladies? In total I used three pads and my nails came out pristine and clean, not one spec of glitter to be seen. Normally after removing any nail polish with standard removers I have to scrub my hands several times to remove the potent odor & get rid of the chemicals on my skin. Then I have to apply cuticle oil and a mountain of moisturizer. Not with the manicare pads. These babies smell so good, and if that wasn't enough, they actually moisturize and nourish your nails and delicate cuticles too. My nail beds are lovely and shiny and there is zero chemical damage or flaking anywhere on my nails. I'm now on the hunt for the coconut pads as well so I can have some for the car for last minute hospital shifts and fast removal, as well as some for my handbag. This product is effective, affordable and beautifully put together - the smell, the packaging. Everything screams convenience here. I paint my nails regularly and have used different forms of removers.

I have a particular penchant for the nail wipe, as I find it quite fiddly and splashy to use bottled remover and cotton pads.

The dip remover pottles are also good but it gets a little funky in there after a while- yuck!

These Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads (limited edition) are a bit of a letdown, compared to the cheaper nail wipes I usually use.

The pads (32 in pottle)are damp with polish remover, like other nail wipes, and you just swipe over polish and, to Manicare's credit, they remove polish instantly (I use gel or ordinary polish, can't vouch for glitter etc).

It is difficult to gauge whether the extreme post-pad nail dryness of these wipes is a result of good stuff settling (Vitamin E, nail-brightening serum) or damage occurring. They purport to be moisturising and gentle -not my impression. They were definitely not brighter.

The scent is overpowering and hard to pinpoint. I would rather have a coconut or light fruit scent than the dusty-potpourri stink these wipes put out.

Visually, the product label is very busy with information and pattern. I prefer a simpler, sleeker packaging. It looks low-end with the white plastic tub, despite the attempts to look upmarket by employing a Bec & Bridge print.

These are fine but I wouldn't buy them if I could get a cheaper option ($4.99 rrp is fine but I've found cheaper, more effective pads/wipes).

Wow absolutely amazed with this product, I used my minnie mouse opi glitter nail polish on 3 nails to test as ended up having family stuff going on and work so didn't get to fully test but I already love it. I could get the glitter polish off so easily compared to trying to use nail polish remover and cotton balls and used 1 pad for 2 nails. And to have my hands feel smooth is great too, definitely want the coconut ones though as the floral seems to give me a headache which is a disappointment.

Anyone who has ever taken or wanted to take nail polish remover and cotton balls away with them knows how these could be so handy! When I went travelling earlier this year and left home without my nail polish remover. So I headed into my local pharmacy and found these. They were super handy. We were road tripping and I was in the passenger seat removing my nail polish! They did take a bit of a scrub to get the polish off but but were awesome. They didn't have that strong smell nail polish remover normally has and there was no risk of spillage. Now being back from holiday, I continue to use these and have them in my handbag always! Love this product!

Everyone must try the Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads! These are a miracle that come in a round, compact, sealed container that fits perfectly in my handbag (a.k.a the Tardis) and also in my travel toilet bag. I think they are affordable as well.

Once you remove the plastic seal and unscrew the plastic lid there is a secondary foil seal. Once you pull the secondary seal back, all is revealed. A very pleasant floral fragrance and 32 very thin, yet amazingly durable Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads.

I usually wear three layers on my finger nails which includes a base coat, a natural shade and a top coat. I only use 1 Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pad for both hands.

I usually wear three or four layers on my toe nails which includes a base coat, 1-2 dark shades and a top coat. I use 2 Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads for both feet.

The Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads feel quite delicate but it is amazing what they can do. Nail polish literally glides off with these wee beauties and there are no unpleasant smells! Not one. My husband doesn't realise what I am doing, unless he is watching. They are just so convenient and effective.

After using Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads, my nails and cuticles look healthy and feel nourished. These are acetone free and as the packaging states - they are moisturising.

Definitely recommend.

These are so handy to use! Polish comes off easily with a couple of wipes. The smell is pleasant and not overly strong. Perfect for travel - saves me having to take a whole bottle of polish remover and cotton buds with me on holiday.

These wipes are handy for standard nail polish, but I mainly wear glittery polishes and these don’t budge them at all. They also stick to each other so it’s quite fiddly to get them apart.

I had used nail polish pads before so I anticipated these ones to work the same.

They come in a handy container which would be ideal for travel, upon opening the fragrance is so yummy - I brought the limited edition pineapple crush, soooo good!)

The paper thin pads can be a little difficult to get out so if its polish on your toes you are removing be prepared to loose polish on your fingernails while trying to separate them as they are stuck together very well.

Perhaps its my nail polishes that fight with the removal but 1 pad takes so long to remove even one nails worth. Once the polish is removed there is a film left on my nail - again this could be my polish but its time consuming and not what Im use to with liquid remover.

Theses pads do smell great and don't dry out cuticles and nails but the time and effort for removal is too much for me, so I wont be purchasing this brand again.
