Over a year ago I was looking for a full coverage foundation and was recommended this one to try. I was really excited to try this as it wasn't in a liquid form but a stick "lipstick" form. The idea was great! It was very easy to apply, it glided on effortlessly but a few things I learnt with using this was to use small amounts at a time and slowly add more. The coverage is great but it is also quite thick if your use too much, it didn't really smooth away wrinkles it made them more noticeable, I have some fine lines under my eyes and having the foundation under my eyes drew more attention to there. Also I found blending it in with my hands as it warmed the product helped much better instead of using a sponge or a foundation brush.
If your wanting a full coverage foundation this is ideal, great value for money & very fast to apply to your face.
3 out of 5 for me
I've tried a couple of Foundation sticks now, and Max Factor's Pan Stick is quite up there with the rest of them. This is heavy, full coverage - It covers everything, and it definitely feels like full coverage - however my pores have never felt clogged using it - but it gets to a point in the day when I look forward to taking it off. It's extremely easy to blend - I use a flat top foundation brush and have never had a problem blending this - in fact for me it was easier than many of the liquid foundations I have. It doesn't settle into my pores, nor does it emphaise dry patches. I have normal to dry skin and its really great for my skin type. I don't feel it sliding off during the day (but I do usually set my face) The only off putting thing about this is the smell - it really smells quite chemically and fragrant - something I haven't noticed in other stick foundations.
Tips: Best for normal to dry skin
