I tried one of these out and it will definitely be the last one I buy! The colour selection is good and I like that there are 8 colours as it's useful to have on hand, however the formula is pretty chalky and so not very pleasant to use. I find the shimmery ones are quite clumpy too. Wouldn't recommend.

Reviews
This is disappointing from Maybelline as you'd hope that their eyeshadows would at least be USABLE, but every one I've tried has been chalky and powdery.
Some of these shades look great in the pan and look like you could put together some really stunning looks, but when you transfer it onto your eyelid it looks washed out and dull.
The glitter shades are very chunky and even harder to apply than the others.
Very disappointing!
I picked three of these (the quads), up from Uncle Bills early last year. I was interested in them because the colours looked really nice and I liked that they said where on your eye you should use them (perfect for beginners).
Out of the three (I got the Natural Smokes, the Amethyst Smokes and the Charcoal Smokes), I only liked one quad - the natural smokes one.
I found the natural smokes quad pigmented, buttery and easy to use with little fallout. I loved it so much I wore it almost daily for three months and gave it to my sister when I got the Naked Palette.
The other two quads were - in my opinion, a massive waste of money. They were super powdery and had ridiculously sheer pigmentation and a lot of fallout. I was annoyed because they look gorgeous in the pans but are useless when trying to apply them to your eyelids.
I ended up giving away the two purple quads as I was going to throw them out.
I would be hesitant to purchase these again as only one of the quads I liked. To be honest I think there are other brands (Chichi for example), that offer better quality for around the same price. I wouldn't recommend these to my friends.
The matte brown on the left bottom corner is the best colour in the palette. It is pigmented and a good basic brown. The shimmery shades are more on the chunky glittery side (particularly the two coppery colours). The two green colours, especially the darker olive one on the bottom right, are quite nice, but may not be everyone's taste as they are the least "wearable" shades. It claims "8 crease-free hours", this is not so. I don't feel it delivers on the "fade-proof colour" either.
Tips: Use a primer or base so the shadows won't fade as easily.
The colours do not come out so great when applied even after a few layers of application. not a very pigmented product definitely not for a bold look at all. The eyeshadow doesn't tend to last too long either!
Some shades in this range are amazing others are pretty chalky or leave alot of fallout - I recommend the cocoa duo, Irish Mist and the cocoa cream single, also the earthly taupe and jade shades which may or may not have been discontinued now. The palette pictured is also great has some really wearable shades. I guess if you can find one that works go for it but stay away from the highly frosty ones and the quads as they are generally the least pigmented of the ones I have tried.
I have all 3 shades of this palette and honestly the only one I like the the Neutral one. It has a bunch of quite pretty shadows, including a matte brown which is one of my go-to crease colours. The glittery colours are kind of chunky but I actually don't mind the bronze one. The other 2 palettes I have are just downright awful. Chalky, sheer and basically blends away to nothingness. Definitely need a primer underneath and even then the colours just don't last all day. Overall, would definitely not buy at full price and the only one I use is the Neutral palette.
