I have to get the palest shade for most concealers and even the lightest for this one was too dark/orange. Blending was difficult. bottle got messy very quickly. I also really don't like the idea of squishing the applicator on my undereye skin. I feel like a doe-foot followed by a brush or soft blender is a WAY more gentle way to go to prevent fine lines there.

Tips: Remember not to press too hard! Maybe I'm just a heavy handed control freak, but I definitely think the Fit Me is much more gentle - and clean.
I got my hands on one of these as I saw in the recent beauty review article that this is one of the top rated products of its category in the whole website. I had high hopes had to see what all the hype was about. I am sad to report that this product was a big let down for me. I see the price tag above is not bad but the product to me was nothing special. First the packaging was annoying I could not work out how to get it to work after pressing the spounge down several times it began to get the product out I put this on with out any primer I expected to see a nice smooth brightening or slightly luminous forumula but it was not. It was yellow and not smooth it did not glide on. Patting it on with the sponge seemed okay but my thoughts are it is not a very clean product to use. Bacteria and dead skin cells will sit in the sponge it comes out very gradually not fast enough for me and the coverage is very sheer its like a light to medium coverage foundation. I will have to try this with primer but to me the formula is not good nor the coverage or the packaging I do not see myself re buying this. I didnt notice any difference in fine lines improvement either. Others seem to havr wrote great reviews so maybe I need to give this more of a try and update.
Yes it does cover dark circles and is very easy to apply, great concept with the sponge. But it cakes on me and leaves my under eye area looking dry and (gasp) ageing!!
I didn't like this at all, I found it dried out and made my under eye area look worse, also made my eyes irritated. I got medium and it's a dark beige so I'd recommend to go lighter in color than you think you need. I really dont know why this is rated so high like it is, but everyone is different.
So much hype and really wanted to like this concealer. I have fine lines and need a product that won't settle or cake. The product promises to micro fill and smooth, but it just settled into the fine lines and made them more noticeable. The texture was strange, as it's comes out quite wet, but dries quickly and sets thick. I quite like the sponge applicator as I try not to touch my eye area if not needed, but it wasn't easy to control the product or blend out, so I would apply to my hand first and try to dot on but the product would set fast. It reminded me of white out/twink - goes tacky quickly and then hard to do anything with it.
I didnt like this very much i found it didnt cover my dark circles completely and it did crease And dry my skin , also the applicator was a little unhygienic, was like using a dirty sponge, i feel bad giving a bad review but its true even the smell was unpleasant, maybe its just me but i wont be using this product again i love maybelline products but this one let me down,
I’d heard so much hype (especially on youtube) about this concealer, so when I was in Aussie recently I picked this up at the chemist. Sadly I haven’t personally found this to be all it is hyped up to be.
The packaging is a bit annoying, but it does work… eventually. It definitely took me a good few minutes of twisting up the first time to get any product out onto the sponge. I find the sponge a bit annoying because it seems to soak up a lot of the concealer, and so quite a bit is wasted that way. It is super soft and feels nice when I’m applying the concealer under my eyes, although you can’t really use it to blend the product out – you need to use your fingers or a separate brush/sponge for that.
I got the lightest shade, Fair, as the next one down looked way too dark in the tube. I have very fair skin (NC15), and for me, Fair is just slightly too dark and too pink. It’s not too bad when first applied, but once it sets (with or without a powder on top), it seems to oxidise a bit more and gets much more obvious.
It definitely doesn’t have full coverage, but it can be built up to a medium coverage without too much trouble. If you could get the right shade, it would work well as a highlighting-type concealer, rather than a full-coverage one.
The consistency seems quite thick initially, but it actually blends out very thinly, and feels nice and light on the skin. Unfortunately on me, this still doesn’t prevent it from settling and creasing very quickly. If I don’t set it lightly with powder it creases within minutes, and even with powder it starts creasing within an hour, plus it can start to look a bit dry and cakey. It also seems to fade relatively quickly, so any coverage I get from it is mostly gone by the end of the day.
I feel bad for saying so many negative things about this, but it really didn’t suit me at all. I think if you’re someone who just needs a bit of light brightening coverage under your eyes (and you can find a good shade match), this could work. However, I need fuller, lasting coverage, and the creasing issue is a dealbreaker for me.
