Maybelline Baby Lips Love Color Review

I love Baby Lips lipbalms - they're readily available, cute, cheap and they give you a bit of hydration and gloss. You get what you pay for - they're no long term solution - but they're a good regular go-to

These promise more colour but it's rally a tint, there's nothing impressive.

As with all Baby Lips, the packaging is funky and cute, without being too girly.

Just like a lot of other lip balms, this one smelt nice but left my lips feeling even dryer. It did leave a nice red colour to my lips but didn’t help to moisturise them

Being a long time fan of maybelline baby lips, I keep a few of these cheap and cheerful balms floating around. The love color range pack quite a color punch for a simple balm, and as with all the baby lips balms, keeps lips soft, hydrated and plump.

I will continue to purchase these for as long as they're around, i've purchased many of them over years past. Great product for what they are and for $4.99, I don't even need to think about it.

Sorry Maybelline, but you've lost me on this one. I was really eager to invest in a tinted balm to keep in my car for every day use on the go. Last minute coffee catch ups, appointments. Something to make me feel a wee bit pretty and glam that takes 2 seconds to apply. That's what I wanted. What I got was a total flop! Maybelline products have never really let me down in the past, in fact, their mascaras are often my faves. I'm only grateful that this lip balm cost me less than $5 from Kmart, otherwise I might've been spitting tacks so to speak. Lets start with the color - I purchased the red one, so I can't confirm whether the others are just as bad as this one. The color looked nice going on, it looked a lot more like an oily lipstick rather than a colored lip balm though. After about 20 minutes out of my car, the color was entirely gone. My lips were dry and not at all moisturized. The worst part was the taste. It was like wax. Slightly perfumed wax. Even after doing the finger trick when applying, I noticed some on my teeth a short period later. It was so waxy. End story, for me the baby lips is a solid no in basically every aspect. Other than affordability and convenience of purchasing almost anywhere. Pharmacies, supermarkets, the warehouse, kmart and farmers - I've seen it at all of these locations. My experience definitely hasn't put me off Maybelline products though, my very first mascara at 16 years old was the Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara and I still swear by it to this day. xxx

I am using Maybelline Baby Lips Love Color from quite some time and it is one of my handbag essential. I have it in baby pink color and it is good to use when I forget to apply lip balm in rush so I know I have one in my bag. Although it does not moisturize too well as claimed by the product or like any other lip balm. But still it is good to have soft and beautiful lips. It looks appealing to me and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, I feel this product has gone downhill. Which is a shame. I always bought this Babylips for a natural lip stain. I have quite big lushes lips and now I feel this product clumps up and doesn't reach parts of my lips like it use to. I don't know if I can be convinced to buy anymore unfortunately.

I don't wear a lot of lipstick and prefer a gloss or a balm. I bought this lip balm to have something light in colour just to pop on for everyday wear.

The colour is nice, not too pink and the balm is moisturising and soft without being too heavy.

Its a go to staple that I keep in my handbag if I need a pep up.

This is a wonderful little lip balm and super handy to leave around the house, handbags, work, car, etc. This is absolutely great on the pocket too. The colour and delicious fragrance is a complete fabulous bonus !

Love this product, I managed to grab it from the warehouse at a cheap price, i love the design aroung the packaging I think its very cute, The lip balm itself smells so delicious, makes lips feel smooth and lushious azwell as giving a beautiful pinky tint.

Would continue to buy as its a handy little accessorie to have lying around the house or car.
