Heavy cream, light pen

I got this brow pencil from the October Beauty Vault. I've never paid much attention to my eyebrows other than plucking strays, and I've had them professionally stained twice. This is to say, I don't have much experience drawing on eyebrows. However despite my lack of experience I'm finding this pencil very easy to use. The pen/thin crayon which is used to draw on "hairs" and define the line of your brow is quite subtle and has a bit of a shine to it, whereas the cream which is applied by the sponge end is actually quite heavy. I have found that to make the best balance of volume to light/darkness of my eyebrows, I draw with the pen and then apply very little of the cream at a time, building to the darkness/fullness that I want. I find this product very helpful because sections of my eyebrow hair is a dark blonde, and other spots are very light/platinum blonde. Because of this it my eyebrows can look very patchy. This pen/cream combo has allowed me to even them out a lot. The only thing that is missing is a brow brush/comb. Using a comb after applying the cream leaves my brows looking more natural.

Tips: Us a brow comb after applying cream. Also apply cream in small amounts and build up to the fullness you want.
