I have mixed opinions about this foundation. Lets start with the bottle, perfect size to hold, however the foundation comes out WAY to fast, you only have to barely touch the top to end up with too much. Coverage was, well, average, good if you are on the run and need something quick, but you definitely will still want to cover it with a good foundation-powder to make sure you get complete coverage. It is lightweight, and does not feel oily like a lot of other foundations, which I like. The colouring tends to change slightly after applying it also which can be a pain. Overall, I don't think I will be buying this again.

This was always going to be one of those products that everyone wanted to try for the sake of curiosity. As the concept is something quite different. First up it needs a really good shake up to mix the product suffiently so it doesn't squirt out in a liquidy mess. Once you get a handle on that I found the pump easy to use. Just need to be gentle so you don't end up with too much. At first I was really surprised at how amazing it actually looked and felt on my skin. Good coverage and evened out my skin tone. Totally light weight feel. In fact did all the things I wanted it to and the big bonus was, for the first time I had a foundation that looked like I wasn't wearing anything at all. No makeup settling into pores, no caking, no evidence of anything being there at all. It completely blended into my skin and looked amazing. I was happy. But then when I glanced in the mirror an hour or two later I was yellowy orange.. looked very much like I had a fight with the tanning booth and came off second best. I never really experienced oxidisation on this level before. It was also not at all water/sweat proof. As soon as anything damp or wet comes into contact with it, it washes right off. So if Maybelline had spent a bit more time perfecting the issues before they released it. It might have been quite a good product. But alas it's not a keeper for me. Pity because I really wanted to like it.
Thank goodness I paid $5 for this because its not good at all. On hot days I wouldn't wear this as it makes you oily. Also this transfers to my hoody collar. The colour I chose was a good match but that's about all. I keep this for if I didnt want to waste my good stuff and I just needed make up for a few hours max.
Tips: The only way to apply is with a beauty blender bouncing it over your face. Any other tool or fingers will not blend this properly.
This foundation was not what I was expecting. It doesn't feel nude, but quite heavy and thick on the face. Nor did it provide a "perfect finish" it felt more like a mask. I also found it oxidised throughout the day making me have an orange tint. It was also not good for my oily t-zone.
I've tried to apply this multiple ways... Sponges, fingers, brushes etc and I cannot seem to find a way to make this foundation look better on me unfortunately.
Tips: Make sure to shake VERY well because white foam can come out if not fully shaken.
I really disliked this product... it was so oily and just yuck! When I tried to get some out it was like water, and just dribbled everywhere. I felt like I was lathering my face in oil. The colour was off, the texture was horrible. I washed it off straight away. Was so disappointed!
Yes its light. But that is about where it ended for me. I'm usually a big fan of Maybelline. But not overwhelmed with this product. It needs a LOT of shaking before application. I find the foam always always has 'flyaways' when it comes out - meaning you have to make sure you have the whole nozzle covered for it not to get your clothes, table, mirror. It's messy! I usually wear it if I don't want to wear a lot of makeup or I cant find my usual foundation. It does not cover very well and does not last very long. I find the colour matches my face well though.
This foundation doesn't come in a wide range of colours so couldn't find one to suit my normal skin tone. I did use it with a spray tan and found it very light and breathable. The texture is very unique and fun but that's about the only positive. i found it to be very patchy no matter how I applied it. It also majorly oxidizes so was left with a very orange face by the end of the day!
This is such an orange toned foundation, the coverage was poor so I tried to build it up but instead of improving it just got more and more orange :( I paid $5 from posty plus so it wasn't a huge loss but I just wised it did what it said it did on the packaging. This put me off whipped foundations
This product made me look older. When it dried it looked powdery and settled into the fine lines I didn't know I had! Because I don't like to waste things though, I mixed it with other products to give it a more dewy -er finish. I don't mind the matte finish but it took it slightly too far (I'm oily by the way)
I popped into a discount store and this was on sale for $1. $1!!! How could I not buy and try? There were only two shades available, one would've been way too dark for my skin, so I went with Classic Ivory, which I worried would be too light for my skin, but for $1 I thought I may as well buy it and see. Turns out it's perfect for my skin tone.
I must admit, I'm quite in love with the gimmicky moussey foaminess of the foundation. I love shaking it and squirting it and seeing it puff up onto the back of my hand. That's possibly all I love though.
The texture is air-light, and it kind of melts into the skin when rubbed in. It also looks like you don't have any foundation on at all. In some respects, it reminds me of BB Cream - which I don't use as it's too sheer - but unlike BB Cream it doesn't offer many other benefits, other than a bit of SPF.
If you had good skin, it'd be nice for evening out the odd bit of uneven skin tone, but my 35 year old skin needs something a bit more. I also found it settled into my pores and wrinkles and moved about my face. And when I took my specs off it had patched up in the areas where my glasses touched my skin - as if little foundation molecules had got together for a party. Not pretty.
I'm not sure who this is aimed at, it's light enough to be a good first foundation for a youngin'. But the mousse part makes it a little tricky to play with. I don't know that I can recommend this, but still, I don't hate it to give it '1-lips' all round.
