I was excited to try this new style mascara after seeing the ads about it. On opening the mascara I noticed the mascara was clumped together on the brush, so tried to get it off but it stayed, oh well I thought this must be how it works..no.. it doesn’t instead these clumps made a big mess of my lash. After washing the mascara off and cleaning the brush, I tried again to a better result. But next time I went to use..clumps on the brush again.

Tips: I wouldn’t waste my time with this, I ended up buying a different mascara and this went to waste.. not happy as not cheap.
This mascara does what it promises! The large brush coats a lot of mascara quickly to achieve the 'falsie' look without having to apply layers and layers to achieve this. I found the little brush perfect for lower lashes and easy to apply without getting mascara on my skin as I do with larger brushes. Love it!
I barely used this mascara after I bought it as the big brush would often make my lashes clump together, and I would always get mascara on my eyelids. Which was just a hassle to have to clear up.
It does however deliver with giving you big falsie-esque lashes so if you're patient when doing your eye makeup it might work better for you then it did for me.
Wouldn't recommend it but it does the job.
This was one of the first mascaras I bought from Maybelline and I loved it. The large brush for your upper lashes evenly coated them in product, giving them the "falsies" effect. The smaller brush is perfect for coating your lower lash line without clumping or transfering onto your under eye area. I would buy this again, however I do prefer Lash Sensational to this. I got the non-waterproof one and found that it would smudge and rub off throughout the day.
I accidentally bought the waterproof version of this! An ok product when it comes to the 'falsies' promise but tbh there was no major dramatic appearance to my eyes. The bigger brush is to bulky and i almost always get mascara on my lids because of this brush. Not sure if I would buy again but I'm still using this for day wear (and because I'm not keen to waste this either).
Tips: I sometimes use the smaller 'lower lash' brush for mascara alone - it seems to coat more of my lashes. Or I apply with that brush after applying with the bigger brush.
I love the length, volume and thickness this mascara gives and your lashes do look amazing once you've applied the product! Super long and luscious. But I also wouldn't buy this product again just because it's a hassle using the white side and then the black. Even when you are covering the white with the black wand, sometimes you can still see a subtle cast of white which I really wasn't a fan of. It takes too much time to do it properly and I prefer bold black lashes as opposed to seeing a slight white overcast on a few lashes!
Can't say I'd buy the Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara again.
The half for bottom lashes is actually pretty good. The brush is small and thin which allows for good control. The mascara doesn't clump your lashes together. I would use this half of the mascara again. However, I found the other half for top lashes a bit of a let down. The brush is big and bulky and does not at all separate the eyelashes. I found myself using the part for bottom lashes on both my top and bottom.
Sadly, not worth the money - Half maybe.
I picked this up because I liked the idea of two brushes, one for upper and lower lashes. Sometimes, when using mascara, I find it difficult applying it to my bottom lashes, often it smudges or clumps or gets all over my under-eye area.
I loved the brush for the bottom lashes. I found it the perfect size and shape - it didn't pick up tons of mascara and was easy to control. It didn't clump or smudge and made my lower lashes longer and stand out more, but still look natural - something I loved.
However, I didn't like the brush for upper lashes. While it did give the appearance of bigger eyes, I found it awkward to use. It was also clumpy and stuck my upper eyelashes together.
I still used this product, but only the half for lower lashes. I used another mascara for my upper lashes and this for my lower lashes. When it ran out I didn't purchase it again, and I wouldn't. I just bought another mascara that had the same sort of brush and used that for my lower lashes.
I bought this mascara because it stood out on the shelf to me and looked and sounded like it would make your eyelashes really full and big - which would be great of course! But I found the Mascara brush to be to big and made it harder to use particularly on the bottom lashes - I prefer smaller brush Mascaras. Also the product became quite thick and hard to use reasonably quickly and I had to clean the brush multiple times near the end to even be able to use it. I definately did not feel my eye lashes looked like falsies. The Mascara all round for me was just on an average level.
I found the mascara with it two separate brush ends a bit gimmicky. It felt awkward to use as the brush ends have their own sepatate containers and it feels a bit bulky. The formula is rather dry and you need to work quickly.
I did like the smaller brush end the best. It is meant for using on your lower lashes but it's prefect for getting into the corners of your eyelashes at the top to add good length to shorter, sparse lashes. The larger brush was nothing special but does add good volume, unfortunately it clumps with more then one coat so it is hard to achieve the "falsies" look.
Overall a bit gimmicky and definitely not the best Maybelline mascara on the market.
