Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara Review

The last mascara I used was horrid - yes it look pretty and had a mirror on the side, which was handy when applying away from a mirror - but that was about it on the benefits side.

This new maybelline mascara however is fabulous. It's made me realise that Maybelline is really my go to mascara. Amazing value for money (got the double ended big eyes white and black liner for free), easy to apply and really does make my eyes pop.

I love the brush and that it's double ended. The lower lashes brush is fabulous because usually I struggle to get coverage on the bottom lashes without smudging

And it's so black, which is really a plus. Nothing worse than a mascara that says it's 'blackest black' and it's closer to brown

All in all, a FABULOUS mascara, that I definitely recommend

I decided to purchase this mascara due to wanting a mascara for my bottom lashes. I find that I love how this is a 2 in 1 product. I have found that the shade 'blackest black' is very black and my lower lashes look amazing. I have found that it also a really easy product to use. I have only just recently applied this mascara to my top lashes and I honestly prefer this over my Maybelline Falsies Flared. I have found that the formula hasn't changed compared to the original Falsies. I will definitely repurchase this.

I purchased this mascara as I usually buy maybelline falsies mascara and thought it was a great idea to include a wand for the lower lashes. Unfortunately it was a very dry mascara causing my lashes to stick together and when going back over them made them look over done and thick. The lower lash wand is a great, smaller brush that separates your lashes nicely. Great idea for both lashes but just not the right mascara for me.

I purchased this mascara from Farmers. On the first application my short lashes were noticeably fuller, longer and darker. The lower lash brush was easy to use and separated the lashes with no clumping. I also purchased the waterproof mascara for my daughter. She was very disappointed as it took her ages to remove it. What concerns me about this mascara is that both of the wands are on the ends of the mascara which makes me feel like you are not getting as much mascara in the tube as you normally would. Also, we usually apply more than one coat on the top lashes then apply only one to the bottom meaning the mascara for the top lashes will run out well before the bottom one. It was a great idea to include separate wands for the top and bottom but it didn't work for me, unfortunately.

This mascara really didn't set it off for me. After getting it as a gift from a friend and hearing that it really worked for them. I just had to try it. As soon as I put it on, I don't know. It just really didn't work for me. Something about it really wasn't working. I still have the mascara, but haven't used it since. I really do like the other mascaras from Maybelline though. This one just didn't cut it.

I am really disappointed with this product. I purchased this in August from Farmers and was finished mid September. The upper lash wand needed 2-3 coats before it seemed to make a difference. It was very dry and clumpy and made my lashes stick together. Even though it was meant to be waterproof, this ran and flaked onto face. However, the lower lash wand seemed to be its saving grace in terms of me not throwing it in the bin a week after purchase. I was able accentuate my lower lashes so they appeared longer and more voluminous. Will not be purchasing again-especially at the price it retails at.

I purchased this mascara a couple of months ago, I had heard nothing about it, but the packaging appealed (I didn't realise it was waterproof, ha!).

First and foremost, I love the lower lash wand and I really wish they sold that on it's own. The wand is the perfect size for getting at your lower lashes without painting your entire under eye in the process, and because it's waterproof it doesn't smudge under your eyes, ever!

However, the upper lash wand and the accompanying formula is nothing special. To get any sort of volume and length out of it you need a good couple of coats, but because the formula is clumpy it just ends up looking messy.

The reason I rate this product is purely for the lower lash wand, which I use daily, so I'll probably repurchase for that reason - when it's on sale!

So I was in the market for a good lower lash mascara, and I came across this one, and I would say that both sides of the mascara are actually working quite well for me. The bigger fluffy side does not make my lashes clumpy, separate the lashes, however, I don't really see any increase in volume. The smaller side for lower lashes is the part that I'm in love with, I got not many eyelashes on my lower lash line, and they are unbelievably short and sparse. The smaller brush is the perfect size for the lower lashes, as well as inner corner of the upper lashes that the bigger brush can't get to. Wonderful! Oh also, I have never been able to do mascara like a grown woman, meaning mascara always goes onto my upper eye lids for some reason, but this hasn't happen with this mascara even though I'm doing everything the same. A another part that I like.

I told my friend that I'm dying to try this Mascara. And she went out and surprised me with it.. Now don't get me wrong, this mascara is great. But when I went to go and see how much they were...we'll, they weren't that cheap. But anyway, the mascara is good.. There's one brush on each side, one small for lower eyelashes and one big for upper eyelashes. I can really notice my eyelashes being longer, and no clumps are left over so thats a BONUS.

I absolutely hate clumpy eyelashes. Unfortunately this mascara is not my friend. While the little end is awesome for lower lashes as I am prone to getting mascara all over my face. I ended up keeping this mascara way longer than i would have simply for the small brush. Otherwise still on the hunt for a clump free volumizing mascara
