Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara Review

I was lucky enough to be gifted this when it first came out, but i have only just gotten around to reviewing it. I was excited about this, but only because of the lower lash wand. and thats where my excitment stops. I use alot of MNY mascara's and there is one line that i find doesnt work for me, and that is the Falsies line, and this mascara falls under that umbrella. The formula is very similar to the other falsies ones, and i find it to be quite clumpy and it flakes. I LOVE the lower lash wand, as it is the perfect size for me. packaging is ok, and price is good. I would tell my mates about this. but i will tell them why i dislike this one. Other MNy mascaras, i really like xx

I thought that the idea of having a brush to suit top and bottom lashes was innovative and possibly allowed for better lashes. I can't say that I noticed huge differences though. Obviously the bigger brush had a bit more to give, but the finished effect didn't look much different to any other Maybelline mascara.

In terms of packaging the mascara is split in 2 with 2 ends that have mascara in them. And they are packaged in a funky black and pink tube.There is a larger brush for the top lashes and a smaller one for the bottom lashes. I found swapping brushes ended up being annoying.

Verdict: it's a clever idea but I've choosen to move on to a different mascara.

I love the two brushes, makes it much easier to do my lower lashes because the wand is nice and thin which makes it easy to get every lash without getting mascara on the skin. I found the wand for the top lashes a little difficult until I got used to a the size of the wand. It gives my lashes so much volume and length it's great but can get clumpy if you try to put too much on at once.

As the title suggests this is my holy grail mascara, I wish I had found it sooner. With two different brushes it makes life easier, the brush for top lashes is very big and long, and a bit stiff but it coats my lashes so well that my eyes do pop. The brush for lower lashes is perfect, it's just the right size to coat them evenly without getting the mascara everywhere. The formula to me is quite thick but amazingly doesn't clump. I also love the packaging, the colours design everything makes it really stand out If you need your eyes to stand out then I highly recommend this product

I love how it makes my eyelash black and big I would buy it again it's so good but only ones I bought this and it was empty which I was very disappointed

I'm not sure whether I got a bad batch or something but I find this mascara really hard to apply without it clumping up, although I sort of pegged this to the brush as I find these generic sort of brushes never work well with my lashes. The bottom lash one works fine. I think this is definitely a good idea, I just think that either the brush for the top lash should be changed, or the formula should be changed slightly as this has so much potential to be a great product.

The product does exactly as it says it should. To go from no eyelashes to massive eye lashes is amazing! I love the 2 brushes, one for the top lashes and one for the bottom lashes. I love the colour combo on the product, is a real stand out in the make up bag. I have had no issues with this product and does exactly as I expected.

I normally really like Maybelline mascaras so was looking forward to trying this one. Sadly I was not impressed. There are two brushes at each end. One for upper and one for lower lashes. I found that the one for upper lashes is very unwieldy and the mascara went on gluggy and clumped my lashes together. I use the one for lower lashes on my upper lashes and find the brush is way better. Another thing that I don't like is that the bottle with mascara is at the end. Meaning that you have to use pretty much the whole container to put your mascara on. It would make more sense and be more user friendly if the formula was in the central part and uou only had to use the smaller part to wave around your lashes.

Picked this up the other day having heard nothing about it. I picked it mainly because I liked the idea of having different brushes for the upper and lower lashes. First off, either the formula is a bit too thick or the brush isn't quite right as I find the application on the top lashes with the wand a bit tricky. If you're not careful, it can get pretty clumpy but if done right it makes your lashes look great. I always curl my lashes before and when applied carefully, it makes my lashes looks long and full of volume that lasts all day. The brush for the lower lashes is awesome and I have zero problems with application or clumps. It does not irritate my eyes nor do I get any flaking throughout the day. Overall, this is a pretty good mascara.
