Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

Sometime last year, I was running out of my concealer and decided to pick this up on a whim at the supermarket - I can say, I don't regret it! This retails for around $20 and you can find it almost anywhere - supermarkets, pharmacies, Farmers and more.

This concealer is packaged in a square tube, and comes with a doe foot applicator when you open it. I would say you get a decent amount of product with this, one tube lasted me around a year. It has a fresh smell, nothing too noticeable. I chose the shade '15 - Fair' which fits my fair skin perfectly though if you are super pale this concealer might not work too well for you. It goes on super creamy, a few dots is all you need to achieve perfect coverage of under eye bags and this concealer also works perfectly on breakouts and redness - lightweight coverage, lasts for ages. I do find I have to set this concealer, but since I have oily skin that's ordinary for me. It still lasts all day, and doesn't settle into any lines or break apart! I also find this concealer is great for carving out brows and as an eye primer.

I would definitely recommend this concealer, it's a classic cult favorite for obvious reasons (I've even heard it's a dupe for Nars' Radiant Creamy Concealer)! Definitely pick it up if you are looking for an overall great concealer with not too high of a price tag.

Was not what I expected from a concealer, was more like a thin, low coverage foundation, jammed into a small tube with an applicator stick. It gets into your skin lines, and creases and makes your face oily. It is as bad as the foundation, I would not be surprised if it is the same recipe in different containers. Will not be purchasing again.

Maybelline shocked me with this product. When I reach for a drugstore concealer I typically reach for Revlon as it is my trusted brand. But I decided to make a change and try out this concealer. On the day I received it, I tried it almost immediately. When applied to the skin, the concealer has a very creamy texture and is very opaque. This seemed good but it took quite a while to blend which didnt bother me too much. The shade that I chose matched my skin perfectly upon application. But throughout the rest of the day the concealer started to oxydise and change colour. The new shade was very orange toned and it immediately became obvious that I was wearing concealer. So I would reccomend wearing this concealer at night time or if you only need it on for a short period of time. In that case it works perfectly. But for a durable, long wearing product, this is not the one.

Years ago Maybelline had a concealer in a round tube that was amazing - it had a beautiful consistency and it went on and stayed on. Then one day I went to replace the concealer when I'd finished the tube and this product was there. So I tried it. And I will never try it again. The colour was fine and I like a light weight concealer, however it just didn't stick to my zits. Which was the whole point of me buying concealer. Perhaps it's better for under eye circles rather than big angry pulsating pimples? Either way I won't be using it again as I don't want the real me showing through ;)

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - 25 - Medium Moyen. This has been my go to concealer because A. I like it, it does the job and B. I havent found anything better... YET. I've gone through 3 of them so it must be doing something right. The coverage is great and its easily blended. Its a nice light formula and it has a medium coverage. The only bummer about it is that you can never get 100% of the product out of the container as its hard plastic and the wand doesn't touch the bottom. But I would recommend to others. as a great first concealer that's easily accessible

I have never been one to use concealer in the past and just relied on my foundation to cover all.. until now, until you have 2 baby boys (+ snoring husband) and your eyes look like two black pits on your face. Not a good look, so I decided to start playing with lighter concealers (to foundation) to cover those dark wells. Before I invested in top line concealers I wanted to play and see how I liked my new technique, if it would work for me so I opted for drugstore first.

I purchased this from Farmers for $22 (from memory) in the lightest shade possible 'Fair'. The colour choices are minimal - Fair, Light, Medium, Sand and may not suit those with darker skin.

The formulation is great and very easy to work with, it is wet enough to manipulate and blend into your foundation but has enough staying power to cover dark circles. I dot this on with the wand, I do find the wand is not that easy to apply concealer with and you almost have to keep redipping every time to get enough product for area, and then use my fingers to tap the product into my skin around my eyes, forehead and chin area. I then go in with my Beauty Blender to blend in to my foundation. This is then left quite wet and is needed to be set with a powder (preferably a light powder as to not alter colour of concealer/highlighter).

Maybelline Fit Me concealer wears lovely throughout the day and I have not had any troubles with it settling into lines or moving.

This is a fabulous drugstore / cheap concealer and I would not think twice about repurchasing. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget or wanting to play with new techniques and looks.

I really love this concealer it covers my dark under eyes and blemishes really well. It blends in with my foundation really well.

I love this product! I always get nervous about trying new concealers as usually they just never work for me! But after trying the fit me foundation and loving it I just had to try this. It covers my under eye circles well, and also my freckles that the foundation misses. Covers pimples well too! Comes in a good range of shades. Seriously if you want a quality cheap/drugstore concealer I would highly recommend trying this one!

This product is my holy grail concealer! After a huge break out almost 8 months ago, I've been left with a lot of red scarring on my lower cheeks and chin. I've forked out huge amounts of money and tried everything from high end to drug store to $2. Wearing foundation alone was no longer cutting it and I needed that extra bit of coverage! I finally tried this and OMG it has been a blessing. I use it after foundation, as part of my highlight/contour routine, which basically covers the areas I suffer scarring and boy does it cover! Not only does it work well to hide my red scars, it doesn't look cakey and lasts all day when set with powder! I hope it never gets discontinued I personally love it!

This is the best concealer I have come across so far! (previous was Collection and they are similar)

Such a creamy product but also sets very nicely as have not had it crease on me!

Works perfect for under eye area as well as blemishes, I don't know how I lived without this product!

The colour is perfect for my pale complexion and they always have stock. Two problems i always have when trying to find a decent concealer!

I've already repurchased this product and will continue to do so in the future.
