When I was about 15/16 and first started getting into makeup, this was the first foundation I bought. It was great for the time being, very sheer and natural coverage made it perfect for everyday wear to school. However I tried it again last week and found it is nothing special. It fades off in about 3 hours and makes my face look oily. I don't think I would buy this again. For the price I think you can get far better drugstore foundations.

Tips: This foundation is quite thin so make sure you dampen your sponges (if using) before applying!
It was good for light coverage but not good if you are wanting something for a night out or to cover up any discolouration etc.
i brought this to try something a little new, when i first used it, it was just so runny and when applying it to my skin it just disappeared, i had to apply quite a bit to get the redness hidden, so it didn't work so much for me, didn't give me much coverage at all. just felt like sunblock going onto my skin. but however my sister tried it and it worked nicely for her gave her perfect coverage and looked flawless.. it just didn't work for me
I think this was my first Maybelline foundation. I used to love this but back then, I wasn't so into makeup and I was truly a beginner and didn't know my proper shades yet etc.
Anyway, I love the shade selection of the Fit Me range. It's great because you're bound to find a match and if not, you can easily blend two shades together for the perfect foundation match on your skin.
The formula is quite runny and be careful with the bottle because it doesn't have a pump. Since I have oily skin, I didn't find this foundation too great after a while. It just didn't last as long and didn't help mattify my skin either after a few hours of wear. I stopped using it and haven't reached for it in a very long time.
I think this is better for dry to normal skin but for oily ones, stay away. Maybelline just brought out a Matte + Poreless Fit Me foundation and that is much better for oily skin.
The coverage of this foundation is lovely but through out the day it goes very oily on my skin. I switched to the matte and poreless and its great.
I'm not 100% sure that I really like this foundation for a few reasons. Firstly, the packaging isn't great, and it is so easy to pour out way too much product as there is no pump. It doesn't have a very nice smell either, but it fades away quite soon after being applied. I also found that it doesn't give very good coverage at all, and it moved around a lot on my face and went very patchy, although this could be because I have oily skin. Its also kind of hard to apply nicely with a brush, I found that a beauty blender made it look nicer. It didn't oxidise as much as I thought it would, but it still does a little bit. Maybe it is better suited to those with drier skin? But its not really my cup of tea.
Tips: Definitely use a beauty blender or a sponge, and set with a powder or setting spray.
I gave this foundation a go as it looked to be good and the colour was perfect for my skin. It did what it said it would in the sense that my skin was able to breath and stay feeling fresh, however, it did not meet my expectations. This foundation felt good on my skin, but it was quite thin and did not provide the type of coverage that I prefer, it also left my skin quite greasy/oily looking and I had to keep reapplying powder throughout the day. If you are only looking for light coverage just to even out skin tone, this product could be great for you! However, out of preference I like a little bit more coverage (to hide those little imperfections of my skin!).
Tips: Use along with the Maybelline Fit Me compact powder.
The initial colour and cover was fairly good and I was happy with it when I initially put it on. However, it moved an awful lot, faded and wasn't very matte. I put setting spray over it and primer under it, it still moved. I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations.
So being that the colour range that is available in NZ is a little too light for me (by one or two shades), I had to get my colours from Amazon.com, which is unfortunate but what I have to do to get colours in this range that match me.
I found the Matte and Poreless gave me great coverage and a little bit of product went a long way. It was also pretty long lasting which is something I am constantly looking for when trying new foundations. I found the best application method for me was a flat top brush. Application was effortless and was super quick which is also important to me.
Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Dewy and Smooth formula. It was a streaky mess when applying and looked patchy and, well, pretty bad. Not sure if it was my moisturiser that it wasn't agreeing with or just my face in general, however after the one or two tries that I gave it, it is now sitting in my make up drawer... I may give it a go another time, but for right now, I would not repurchase it!
These foundations I find have a slight orangey tone. It is unpleasant under certain lights. However the coverage itself had as much coverage as you would get for the price. It got rid of redness but still kept those red blemishes and didn't dim them out very well. Its a very thin texture which takes a lot on the beauty blender to blend it in to your skin so it doesn't look like its caked on.
I find that it is very oil so you must apply powder over the top to even it out. By the end of the day foundation had gotten slightly runny by my nose and became blotchy in places. So I wouldn't recommend wearing it on a a sunny hot day, the foundation will not stay.
