Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

The packaging – comes a dusty pink, metallic looking tube, brilliantly designed. I love the sleek packaging of this mascara.

The mascara is lovely. I find the formula is a bit wet and light. It has a unique open fan brush applicator which features a fan like head. It has shorter plastic bristles on one side (to apply mascara at the root of lashes) and longer bristles on the other (to sweep through lashes all the way the tips).

The light formula helps to achieve a natural looking lashes, It does not make my lashes stiff or looking crunchy. I find this mascara very quick and easy to apply. One coat adds great amount of volume and length. It does an excellent job of creating full, voluminous lashes and lasts all day.

I have never experienced flaking or smudging with this mascara. The formula is build-able, the mascara does not clump my eyelashes. My lashes are perfectly separated and look amazing. I especially really like how it looks on my bottom lashes. It was also easy to remove this mascara.

If you are like me and prefer a light mascara, definitely give this one a try. I would definitely repurchase and highly recommend it.

When I saw this this on sale at Farmers, I decided to buy it and give it a go. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to perform that well, but this mascara exceeded my expectations!

The applicator is a fan shape with individual bristles. I found that it worked really well to deliver long, separated lashes with a little bit of volume. I never had any problems with clumping or smudging. The formula wasn't too wet and I never had any issues when applying this mascara, unlike some others that I've used.

One side of the applicator has smaller bristles, which are meant to be used on your lower lashes. I don't find this side all that effective, so I generally use the long bristles for everything.

There is one thing that annoys me about this product, which is the packaging. The base of it is very slim, so sometimes when I try to stand it up it falls over. However I still love everything else about this product, and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I will definitely be repurchasing this mascara soon!

I think this came out quite recently, I remember seeing a poster of it and thinking, 'this looks promising!' So the adventurer in me decided to try it out even though I already have a couple staple mascaras.

The formula of this is very thin. It's almost liquid as opposed to the thicker gel like texture I'm used to. The only bad thing about this is that my lashes instantly lose their curl when I wear this. With thicker mascaras like One by One, my lashes can stay curled despite the mascara. This somehow makes my lashes flop back down again. And because I wear glasses, they end up sweeping all over my glasses like a mini black paint brush.

The applicator brush is a nice shape, with one side with short bristles and one side with longer bristles. The brush is a plastic one, and slightly curved to fit the shape of the eyelid. I really like the smaller side because it helps get into the base of my lashes and also my bottom lashes.

This isn't the best at staying. On days where I'm sweating a lot it'll start to smudge after a while. But for a day indoors with no major movement this is great.

Overall I think this is most suited to daytime use, when you don't want to have thick falsie like lashes. This gives a very natural look with slight volume. The only thing to beware of is it'll straighten out your lashes if they're curled.

Tried using before/after and with/out false lashes, works really well looks pretty on the lashes. The water proof type does not run and is a little bit hard to get off with makeup wipes and liquid remover.

I got sucked into the hype attached to this mascara, but I am only just starting to warm to it. If you don't wipe off some of the mascara from the wand it can be very clumpy and appear almost spidery once applied. It can also be really difficult to remove.

This mascara has done wonders for my lashes! I'm a fan of maybelline mascaras, the colossal was my number 1 for about a year but since getting the lash sensational I haven't touched any of my other mascaras! I've always struggled to find a mascara that can hold a curl, but if I curl my lashes before using this one, it holds the curl so well!

I'm always looking for a mascara that makes my lashes longer, curls and makes my eyes pop. This is it! If you are after a dramatic look you will get it with this. I love the fact it stays in place and does not flake. The brush is curved, with a smaller comb on the inside of the brush making it easier to get to those tiny lashes that almost always seem to get forgotten. And a larger brush that creates the drama. I've been on the look out for something similar to Yve Saint Laurent curl mascara with out the hefty price tags and this beauty is comparable (my opinion).

The only con I have is removing it can be annoying. But a little patience goes along way.

Not so sensational. I bought this mascara thinking awesome it's bound to work it's by a great company an was in my budget at the time. I noticed the brush had two sizes / sides to use. Top lash bottom lash maybe? I tried both ways an I got nothing but clumpy. Tried it again the next day and similar results but left it on to see if it would even out. It didnt then started to flake an sting my eyes :( This was disappointing for me the mascara literally fell off my lashs no idea why but it wasn't working for me.
